Glasgow 2016

Barker just hasn't been doing the job he was brought in to do,

At home he's been getting away with it as our track is grippy this year and he's as brave as they come,

Away from home he's struggled I'm afraid, at Sheffield he was decent but he only got 7 points that night which three years a go wouldn't have been decent for Ben,

If you has seen him at Somerset you wouldn't have believed it was Ben Barker where he his only point came by beating there number 7.

Rene Bach will certainly improve Glasgow, of that I've no doubt.

Feel for Ben but it's not happening as Monday night proved at Newcastle when his points came about by beating the home teams reserve.

Don't expect him to be out of a job too long.

Barker was an 8 point rider and should be averaging nearly 9 points. 7.70 is very good for a second string, but a point below what you'd expect

Sad but true . It looked like a masterstroke signing Ben on his current average , but it just hasn't worked out . As you say , Somerset was shocking and his first ride on Monday night was even worse . So welcome Rene and onwards and upwards

Looking at the press release it says the change will take effect from Monday which presumably means Barker will ride this Sunday against Plymouth. That being the case Bach's first meetings will be away to Ipswich and PB next week.

Seen Barker at the British Semi Final, pretty shocked by how poor he was, he was a shadow ot his former self,

Don't see what he would bring to Berwick with his seemingly endless problems he's been having... We have enough of them with our crocked boys at the minute... Bit shocked Glasgow have got rid but that's a case of being desperate for success now with all the money that has been plowed in!
