Stretching the meaning of London a bit with Arena Essex and Lakeside........

The group, pioneered by the late great historian Bryan Tungate, is designed to show tracks not only based in London, itself but also within reasonable distance of the capital. I am sorry that you feel the item has no real worth.

As I recall the Arena Essex/Lakeside Hammers promotion just a few years ago was itself actively engaged in reviving both the London Riders Championship and the London Cup?

No, sorry, I've re-read my fairly short post several times and can't see anywhere where I said your post has "no real worth". I was merely pointing out that Arena Essex and Lakeside were/are not in London. Neither were/are High Beech nor Rye House of course. Under your criterion, you could also include Rayleigh.

Thanks for your response which I now understand. I tend to agree with you in regard to Rayleigh. I will edit them to Brian Tungate's original website post. I have also edited the thread title to London Area Tracks.
