Not even close to being younger then.

Baldy I guess you have never been a fan of Rohan? you are not really convinced with him.In speedway terms is he that experienced? for me he needed a change and I believe he will score big at Somerset and do well at Swindon .At his best he is there with Morris,North (ect so a big season for him I think he should of left Ipswich a year or so ago in my exsperience Foxhall Ipswich was always as slick as a board. Foxhall slick? :o

Tungate would love it if he was, but it wasn't much to his dismay, and at times he was rather vocal about it, too!

Foxhall when I

went there i know it was centuries ago but it was a dust bowl a poor track rough as F... if you look at Tungates results on the bigger tracks mixed results i know but at times he showed real quality.

There is no way Sid, even at his best, that Tungate could be classed in that bracket.

Morris was no 1 last season, he struggled admittedly, but Tungate nowhere even close!

He was in this years Aussie championships blue boy? and that is with Tungate getting an ex(tapes) at Mildura and getting out of shape in a couple of races. Are you telling me Tungate was not there with Nick,Sedgy,Masters over a series? Edited by Sidney the robin

The Aussie championship is usually unreliable as a form guide for the upcoming season in the elite league

It is not a reliable guide, but Tungate has shown at times he is up there with those blokes at his best, can he add the consistency we shall see. After Doyle Holder for me the Aussie's are all a muchness people have also forgotten Sedgemen he really has improved the last few seasons and he could have a big season to.

When he first came to ipswich I thought he was going to be pretty good, and he was, and still is. His move to somerset and swindon will definitely help his career move on. He is very fast in front no doubt about it, but like a lot of riders not so great at the overtaking, but on those tracks, that part of him should also improve. Where he has struggled with ipswich is his dislike for grippy tracks with sharper bends because his style. This won't be a problem at those tracks. I think he will improve his average for both teams.

Tungy used to be a great prospect when he first came onto the radar down under along with Heeps ..quite possibly as highly regarded as Ward and Holder at an equivalent age but for one reason or another hasn't quite made the leap expected, think being thrown in by Ford and then customarily discarded after a season did not help!

Something about his robust style (not unlike little Sedg) during the Aussie title gives me belief he could kick on with another go at the ever so average EL just like i believe Sedghammer will also...having 4 Aussies of similar ability and progression is slightly worrying but would imagine there competitive 'friendly' rivalry will bring each along further especially Morra who despite being the youngest is the senior when it comes to standing in the sport , time will tell but the side looks exciting talent wise and not a boring hasbeen type like Leicester!

Hoping that Swindon go with Branford as there number spare reserve ,think he deserves it after his efforts for them last season.

Junior

As a number 8? If that's what you mean i question if he is A.eligible or B.good enough to replace a rider in our 1-5?

Might even make it a full pint mate!
