The Doctor...
Which is why no one should reply to 'the doctor' Simple. Jesus love, i asked a friggin question. If someone had perhaps replied simply saying there had be no update as such, i would have thanked them and that would have been it. Perhaps you should ask those who made clever dick responses why they did, when i even mentioned that my post was a genuine question, and nothing more. No one mentioned severity or anything whatsoever yet two members spoiling for an argument brought it up with no prompting whatsoever. LisaColette
Yes, fair enough you did just ask a question but one of the responses was from Starman so what do you expect! 😌
Woz01
Norths Dad went back to work after his accident had a fall and did himself quite a bit of damage. Thats when North decided to stay behind.

stevebrum
Great bring up an old argument again which is likely to clog the Swindon thread up with a load of old bol**cks.Did you really need to do that Post 1370 by the doctor brought it up. Best message him. Some if us are trying to keep it positive. I take it you read my post wishing him all the best? Take the blinkers off before you have a go. Starman2006
Yes, fair enough you did just ask a question but one of the responses was from Starman so what do you expect! Thanks for that. But had i and Steve said what woz01 said, he wouldn't have believed us, and gone about pulling the posts to pieces, lets face it, thats all he did with Dak. So you ask the question, what does he expect ? Edited February 13, 2016 by Starman2006

I take it you read my post wishing him all the best? Take the blinkers off before you have a go. I think perhaps he's referring to the argumentative nature of your post. As i replied to Lisa earlier, had your answer been a little more factual like Woz's was, and if you'd perhaps strayed away from mentioning shame on those people etc etc, it wouldnt have been seen as bringing up an old argument. Thanks for that. But had i and Steve said what woz01 said, he wouldn't have believed us, and gone about pulling the posts to pieces, lets face it, thats all he did with Dak. So you ask the question, what does he expect ? Making things up again i see. I'll be honest, had Steve replied sensibly that would have been enough - granted, i take your replies with as much credence as i would do a punch drunk old wino, so you are correct, i wouldnt have believed you in the slightest. You've got too much previous for that i'm afraid. Anyway, he's not a Swindon rider anymore, so its not really relevant to the thread moving on now is it ? stevebrum
Sorry you dangled the carrot in post 1366 so to me you instigated it. Why do I have the blinkers on,about what? It was skidder that I replied to 1355, like I say blinkered. Just what is it that I 'instigated'? I made a comment that some people didn't believe his dad's injury was as bad as it was. stop me if I'm wrong. If you are sensitive over the comments then I can't help that I'm afraid. I think perhaps he's referring to the argumentative nature of your post. Don't forget to mention it was post 1355 by Skidder that I initially relied too 'for bringing up an old argument'. No one is arguing. Well not until you took offence at a simple reply.

In hindsight i should have thought twice before expecting a sensible reply to my initial simple question. I wont bother again anyway as you're only good for one thing. Skidder put it out there much more sensibly. Your comments most certainly got the arguments going. I'm not blinkered at all I am on no-ones side.I merely stated that the Swindon thread, you know the one about Swindon 2016 will now have some pages of arguments.I have made no comment whatsoever on the North situation.I will now leave this as it is so all the Swindon fans can have their thread back.

Well done to you for adding so much positivity to a Swindon thread. North was still a Swindon (you know who's thread this is for?) Rider up till today. It's the most relevant place to discuss reasons why North isn't coming over. Likewise let the Swindon folk have their thread back, not that it ever went off Swindon orientated topic. But at least you added your thoughts.
orion
Just waiting for those doubters to say it wasn't as serious as made out. It's going over old ground but the fact will always that was not serious enough for him to go home or not ride in the final ...that will always be a fact

E I Addio
It's going over old ground but the fact will always that was not serious enough for him to go home or not ride in the final ...that will always be a fact Coupled with Fords past reputation for pulling stunts especially with Joe Screen in 2009. If it involved any other promoter I doubt if one would bat an eyelid but when Ford is involved we don't know what to believe.

We don't that ..all we have heard that is the reason being put forward ....As I said the only fact in the case is that he never felt it bad enough to go back in the first place ...nothing is going to change that . stevebrum
All that press statement says it's the reason being put forward by North . So we don't know What other reason would a professional speedway rider have for putting his career on hold? Don't look for something that isn't there.
