Sidney the robin
Atkins after looking nervous in his first race changed something i think looked good won a heat.A couple of times he got close to the bend four fence also he nearly got sucked in on bend 2 won in a time of 71.4 pretty good. The Ayres/Carr race was a cracker a proper duel Ayres just coming out on top.14 year old Anders Rowe had a few laps he looks stylish one to note for the future. Ovalman
Would defo go to a few NL meetings at the new arena, good to see some local lads riding for swindon. Will next week's meeting be the Abbey finale, sneaky feeling aces won't want lakeside in playoffs and will gift swindon a point so they can return to the Abbey for semi...hmmm Edited September 10, 2016 by auntie doris
Shale Searcher
Re: Jason Doyles 2 yr deal...... What happens if the powers that be decide that next year, GP riders are banned from the Elite League? Or does "Rosco" have inside info on next yrs Elite League format?? SteveLyric2
They won't be banned - as always it'll be the GP riders' own choice if they ride UK next year. Maybe Rosco and the other promoters know there will be a squad system or shared number 1's?!

hyabb17
Doyley is certainly the best rider out there right now. Off to Torun in 3 wks time, hopefully Doyley will be top of the pile come the end of the night! If you've never been to Torun before I would recommend it to anyone, such a brilliant town & the track/stadium is superb. I believe tickets are still available!!! Crazy robin
Guess he just likes riding for a good team........ Shame he doesn't score as many points guesting for them than when riding against them😀😉
Steve0
Tungate is guesting for Poole on Monday at Belle Vue! I thought Scrabble was a Poole asset? Just a shame they don't show him any loyalty and go for Tungate instead when their averages are very similar!
A ORLOV
The Roobins have a massive week where we need one point from the two meetings, Belle Vue on wed and Lakeside on friday, to secure 4th place in the play offs. On Thursday we have what looks like a very good meeting at Swindon with a couple of EL riders and mostly PL riders from different clubs when Swindon take on a guest select . The Swindon team has the normal riders plus Brady Kurtz in place of Jason, and the Select has a collection of good riders who know the Swindon track led by Chris Harris. This team is Chris Harris, Ryan Douglas, Aaron Summers, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Kyle Newman, Bradley Wilson-Dean. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2766 This has the making of another meeting well worth watching. PS Sorry this is in the EL section but cannot think where else it would be best to put it.

Think we need to get the point at Belle Vue as Lakeside are a good side even without AJ & don't know who's guesting for him.
hyabb17
Doyley's just had a big crash in Sweden, pushed into the airfence & went under it with his bike (couldn't get off it). Went off on a stretcher in an ambulance. He limped onto it, Doyley is hardly one to stay down unless necessary. Hopefully it's only a knock. I 🙏🏻 so anyway as not just for Swindon but for his world title hopes!!! Edited September 12, 2016 by hyabb17
