orion
No they dont !! Tungate got blamed but Morris and sedgy have not performed all year ? Tungate is now performing.Tell me Orion when you wanted Tungate replaced who was it you wanted to replace him.?At that time of the year it is nearly impossible to get a replacement there is not a magic wand very difficult indeed.Sedgy and Morris for me have been disappointing all year not there fault both not sharp anough Tungate is a scapegoat but he has rescued his season Morris and Sedgy have not. Well the first think the point that was being made by the Blueboy was about that part of the season ...so it has no bearing who has performed all year ...Tungate got blamed as his scores show that the time it was his fault ..yet again have a look at the scores in thou home matches ...Sedgeman has not been a disappointment the whole season it's only in the last few weeks he's been poor hence why he should go rather than Tungate now . As for it being impossible to find replacements at that time year how Did Poole replace Watt ? Ford saw a rider in Poor form and before his average went to low dropped him even thou he had been a long standing club servant and had won many titles as well been there captain in years gone by ...and that is why Poole win title after title ..they moved quickly and were not scared to drop anyone ..so as I said it's not impossible to replace people at that time of year as Poole showed

orion
Does not matter what animal you are yoi said it was impossible to make changes .. so quite clearly you are wrong ..reckon your the only swindon fan who thinks sedgeman has been average all year ..nearly evey fan reckons he done better than expected intill the last 3 weeks when hes been dire . theblueboy
Sid, the other issue, with regard to Tungate is he is not an asset, whereas, both Morris and Sedgmen are. This is a results based industry. The side is clearly v.average but we have been good enough to pick up thirteen points away from home. Four defeats at home is not good enough and the issue should have been addressed after we lost to Leicester. I don't care who does what anywhere else. All that matters is when they ride for Swindon. Tungate, as Orion has stated, still lacks track craft but is currently gating like Sonic on acid. The problem it is too late in the season. He was the rider with the near 7 average, he was the one not delivering and therefore he was the one that should have been axed. An away win is a must but with the way this lot are currently riding it is well beyond them, unfortunately.

BritPete
As Rosco sips on his cupofcoffe this morning, I hope that he is mulling over the changes that he was considering. A rider scorned can come back like a man on a mission! Let's go, there's nothing to lose.
A ORLOV
Rohan Tungate had a very good meeting in Denmark last night scoring 11+1 from 6 rides against the likes of NKI etc.
mdmc82
Rohan Tungate had a very good meeting in Denmark last night scoring 11+1 from 6 rides against the likes of NKI etc. He has great scored in the PL as well. He was one of your only 2 good riders on Monday so I don't think he's currently your biggest problem. Morris is your weak link as he's not good enough to be a heat leader. Same with Josh. They are not in the same league as other PO heatleaders in Holder, Hans, Tai, Lindgren, Zagar, Cook and AJ Doyle has no back up as due to his high average, the rest of the riders signed were more 2nd strings. This team always looked very average on paper but due to Tungate & Justin having spells at reserve it made them look better for a few weeks. The two main issues are Nick and Justin, both are not doing what they have done in the past and not scoring.

Odds On
The biggest problem to me is the team manager, he put together a team where he could be one of the boys and relive his youth as opposed to building a title contending team.
poolebolton
I live in Wilshire and in reality where would you rather live Swindon or Birmingham or Manchester. Norfolk and Poole are the best two. Poole is just stupid in reality how much they dominate maybe not on the track this year. BV build a fancy stadium next year Poole go yer let's give ours a makeover. We have a scout in Darcy In Australia. We have big riders hidden away such THJ and we have big riders such a Magic and Lindback who said squad system yes please. But now with Tai signing, you can have Hans and we can have Lindback. Matt will help you guys get in don't worry. Now the semi final is going to be Wolves and Poole things change with Mr Matt Ford. Come on the robins beat the aces and show that the southern power can reign supreme. You have the team to do so just need to unlock the potential. Morris out Hans in. DunRobin
To me the seasons over because even if we struggled into the play-offs, we would be smashed by whoever we ride against over 2 legs. The team is just not good enough & has not been all season, the only time we had a run of good results was when the 2nd heat leaders averages dropped enough to get them into the reserve berth. This to me is one of the big faults at present, as reserves get up to 7 rides & these better graded riders then affect the matches by an unrealistic amount. BuzzCagney
Are we having our annual Farewell to the Abbey match?! At least that will extend the season a bit!

What in heaven's name are you going on about?! How can Josh be a problem? Yeah he was s**t at Coventry but he wasnt signed as a second heat leader but with the average scoring of certain individuals he has been forced to become one and has up to date averaged about 7.2, decent season i would say with more to hopefully come in the future How can Josh be a problem? What is it with the forum at the moment with so many threads and/or posts being duplicated? Because people are so impatient these days they can't wait for one minute while the post goes through. It's there in front of our eyes that it's 'saving' also the green thing at the top wizzing away but no they have to keep pressing 'Post.' Can't understand all this impatience being such a naturally patient person myself. Because people are so impatient these days they can't wait for one minute while the post goes through.
