Swindon lineup for thursday

Jason Doyle

Justin Sedgmen

Charles Wright

Josh Grajczonek

Nick Morris

Rohan Tungate

Stefan Nielsen

The more I look at our team the weaker it looks.

Rohan dropping to reserve hardly helps us either in my view as Charles has got meetings closer by taking extra rides.

This sport at times is a joke, surely a reserves next step is a second string spot why does this Sport create problems.?

Bloody ridiculous as well as they should go into a 2nd string slot regardless of their average which has been attained by riding against 2nd strings & reserves.

Agree. With the race format as it is, riders should only go up or down one level at a time.

So a reserve should only go up to second string and a heatleader should only be able to drop down to second string from a heatleader position.

It's common sense.

Tungate should score better at reserve. However I can't see Wright scoring against the top riders as a heatleader so that should leave them in the same boat as now. Edited by mdmc82

Tungate or Sedgmen in reserve?

I did not look at the latest green sheets and was expecting it would be Sedgmen and not Tungate on their performances to date but their averages are the same as the start of the season, I would not be surprised to see Justins average of 4.7 be below Rohans of 4.64 when they are reassessed.

Don't agree as Charles has been better & scoring more points for Somerset this season & is more used to all the Elite League tracks than Rohan.

Rohan for me is more in-consistent as a rider than Charles who has made massive strides in both leagues the last 2 seasons.

Given a choice I'd have Charles over Rohan everytime.

Really. I haven't seen much of Swindon this year so just assumed based on Tungate's capability in the past.

Didn't rate the signing of Rohan & have been more dissapointed in him even based on that opinion in his meetings so far.

Will have to wait and see if he cleans up at reserve or not, has shown some good signs but then had a bad meeting.

Has Wright done his 2 home and 2 away qualifying meetings as EDR yet?? If not, he should stay at reserve for the time being at least.

I actually believe Charlie can mix it with most, the worry i have with him it takes him a ride or two sometimes to get dialled in.Really enjoy watching him ride a really decent rider even on a bad day a 100 per trier. He has come along way since 2003, when i first see him ride at Buxton when his brother was a CL star.

Losing North for Tungate is a big downgrade, really don't get why we couldn't find anyone better.

One things for certain & that's Dak wouldn't have dropped to reserve.

We had more points left than what we used for Rohan who can only ride slick tracks.

Hopefully Rosco will make the necessary changes, otherwise it's going to be a short season.

Not convinced about the reserves moving up into the main body as someone like Tungate may ride like a wally and yet score 6 or so from reserve and on paper that looks ok ...in order to be any use he has to win both 'reserve' races AND knick at least 3rds from his other rides...not convinced he will on a regular basis..Wright on the other hand can hold his own in the top 5 i feel particularly at home

As for fitting in someone like Zengi well that may not be feasible and PK is a long lost dream but if things dont improve do we try and beat one or two others to Bjarne? Just a thought?

I'm confused!!

A ORLOV said it was Justin when the post said Tungate.

I must admit I expected it to be Justin as well. Seemed he have been very poor.
