A ORLOV
I'm a bit confused about Rosco always going on about this being a young team so need time. I thought they were teenagers the way he spoke but Looking at the ages of this year's new riders, they are not much younger than last year's with most being in their late 20s. Doyle 30, Josh 26, Tungate 26, Sedgmen 24 Young to me is like Lambert(18), Woryna(19), Kurtz (19) Fricke (20) Garrity (22) It is all relative they are all younger than the OAP Rosco Word on the street that there could be some news tomorrow that might Russell up a bit of interest Is this word on the street from the same people who always claim they know what is going on each year and can name the team before Rosco has spoken to and signed them. I heard a few talking utter rubbish at practice about the new stadium build program. Edited April 14, 2016 by A ORLOV
Gemini
Word on the street that there could be some news tomorrow that might Russell up a bit of interest So over a week later what's the news that never happened 'tomorrow'.
magnificentseven
Exactly when is this new era due to start? Not much evidence last night of any new work on the stadium and housing creeping ever closer. Wolfie
damosuzuki
I'm sure they said May, clearly that's never going to happen now. If the new stadium ever gets built it won't be ready for the start of the 2017 season. No chance. Surely some good news for Swindon is due. remembertheracers
Gaming International bought Torquay United FC last week, no room for dogs or speedway at Plainmoor. Houses? Maybe...
van wolfswinkel
I hear a Thai billionaire consortium is taking over the Swindon club. To be renamed "Swindon Red Dragons", and only curry and rice and Thai beer to be sold in catering outlets. The Emperor Rosco as boss, and Ronnie "The Buddha" Russell as trackman. Rosco does not need any more beer or curry and rice other wise he will not be able to get through the turn style.

If that is the case, can we expect new track records to be set by the greyhounds immediately after the takeover? (Puts large sweeping generalisation brush away for future use/misuse).
van wolfswinkel
Mr Mok? People may mok, but as seen in Thai bars in Bangkok the King Power Leicester City effect has given them a massive boost in merchandising sales. Imagine thousands of Thais wearing Wulfsport Robins race-jackets and packing out bars watching their meetings on TV, would be great for the oriental expansion of speedway in The Far East IMO.
MattK
Krystian Pieszczek is riding well for ZG today. Maybe Doyle could tap him up to be our number 8?
Woz01
Krystian Pieszczek is riding well for ZG today. Maybe Doyle could tap him up to be our number 8? Good luck. He wouldn't be assessed as a 4.
MattK
Good luck. He wouldn't be assessed as a 4. I don't see why not? He's just another from the production line of Polish juniors.
stevebrum
I don't see why not? He's just another from the production line of Polish juniors. He rides in the Polish EL for a start. Definitely not a 4 nor should he be for any team.
Daniel Smith
Pieszczek would be a 5 minimum as he had an established Ekstraliga average from 2015. He'd be a category 1 rider. Only category 2 riders have assessed 4 averages
Woz01
I don't see why not? He's just another from the production line of Polish juniors. Top division experience. Riders assesed at 4 have no top flight league experience.
