Swindon 2016 - A New Era Starts...we Thought..

As a number 8? If that's what you mean i question if he is A.eligible or B.good enough to replace a rider in our 1-5?

No I meant as the spare Fast track rider , watched him win the Gillman championship the other week and he looks a lot trimmer and he said he's feeling over his injuries and rode accordingly.

Spare reserve is a number 9 who will be a draft rider not yet picked to cover for the clubs draft riders should they be elsewhere.

Ahhh i see...totally no idea at the moment with these rules regarding 'squads'!

It's still plodding on. Supplementary applications on reserved matters (particularly drainage) were still being submitted as recently as two weeks ago.

Consultation period has closed and reading responses doesn't look problematic. Now it is up to planning officers to assess the application.

Sky showing Leicester v Swindon on April 13th, strange this as not on the Swindon schedule

Now on Swindons website.

I bet all our Aussies are looking forward to p&p and the start of the season, especially with the lovely weather we are having including the snow which is falling today.

When are they going to start the season later.

For me April to September, then the play off's before it starts to change. Gone have the days late 60's early 70's where you could vertually gurantee going straight to the end.

I'm sure Blunsdon is a couple of degrees colder than anywhere else, so watching a meeting there in March is sometimes a test of one's resilience!

Mind you, it can be similar there in July! I reckon on two meetings a season where you can wear T-shirt and shorts. The rest of the time it's jumpers and overcoats. I did see Shov at Blunsdon in open toed sandals once which caused a bit of a stir on the back straight! ;)

Looking at the design of the new stadium, the housing, stadium stand and noise barrier should keep the westerly wind away.

If Easter were to ever become a fixed date in early April, then an April - September League season for the EL is a reality. The league and play-offs are scheduled to be completed in September already.

Kings Lynn have announced Doyley will be riding in the 'test' against the Poles on the 18th of this month...could be a bit difficult as he is riding for us at The Oak Tree that night?....well he is isnt he??!

Someone is going to be disappointed that night

Mind you given the lack of information coming out of Lynn in the last few months........... :P

Maybe Rosco wants to balance the teams up a bit and put in someone like Darryl Ritchings.
