hyderd
Between Nick Josh and Dak there is the definate capability to average 21....Dak and Nick can possibly push towards 7.5 but i think our trumps are at reserve mate Charlie is a proven good reserve, Stefan will always give you 110%, you can't ask for any more.

Purely based on what we have seen at Swindon over the last 2 years, Nielsen must be one of the success stories of the draft because he has rapidly improved IMO. Looked a bit of a wobbler when he guested for Poole at the start of the 2014 season but by the time he was back in the league and play offs last year he looked a different rider altogether. Good signing IMO.
A ORLOV
Agree coombdog, with a team of youngsters, apart from Jason, who can and should improve as the season progresses, they can get to the play offs. It may be hard work for them at the start of the season but I am hoping that with the competition between Nick, Josh and Dak that the team will improve as the season goes on. Rosco also needs to try to get the top riders to help out Justin and the reserves.

Can't see Dak not putting his average up either.
Gemini
This looks a very good Swindon team for 2016. Definitely play-off material in my opinion. Having a top 5 of Aussies will also help with team spirit (now Batch has gone! ) Australian riders do seem to come over here and do very well whether it is in the leagues or in the GP's Any views on why that may be? Best person to answer this is Speedibee. He loves Australian riders.

The problem with Nick Morris is that people don't realise how good he is, i can see him improving his average to over 7 and Dak is certainly a 6.5 to 7 point rider, they only need a decent injury free season. This Swindon team could go all the way.
TesarRacing
What you don't seem to (want to) grasp is that Dak wasn't originally too fussed about coming back to the EL or being a squad member for Rybnik in the Polish 2nd tier. However what has changed and very few expected it, is that Rybnik have gone into Poland's Extraleague as a replacement for one of the bankrupt clubs! An Extraleague contract as well as interest from 2 or 3 EL clubs (not to mention the Danish League contract!!) was enough to make him reconsider. I really don't mind if certain people choose to disbelieve what i'm saying, but that's what you get from speaking to Dak directly. I thought Dak had been in touch with Matt Ford about a return to the EL a month or so after the season finished, so I don't think that is quite correct! They travel a long way to work! so are going to be totally committed. They have this confident arrogant winning positive mentality, they're a tough bunch of dudes in Oz.

It would appear they dont know as much as they would like us to think!
SteveLyric2
No wriggling from me. I know what I know and I know what I was told from the 'horse's mouth'!! Of course he was a bit put out at not being part of Poole's 2016 plans and at the time was part of his reasoning for giving 2016 a miss. Anyone can have their mind changed by new circumstances!! Gemini
Certain forum members have recently gone very much down in my estimation. It's a wonder they aren't dizzy with all the spinning. On the other hand a post like the one below restores my faith that there are at least some decent Poole fans who can see through the Blue and White mist. Thank you foreverblue. Steve0
My take on the mis-information is that it was correct at the time. I believe that they were told what they were told by Dak and he has subsequently changed his mind. I would much rather they posted such information - which comes with a caveat that it was correct at the time.

It may or may not have been correct at the time but if we are to believe Skidder1's most recent version it was far from being the whole story. Apparently, a part of his reason was that he was not offered a place at Poole but the Poole spin machine forgot to mention that aspect of the story.
