Happy with the signing, think he'll do a good job, seems to have matured as a rider over the last couple of years. As an asset we'll have first call on fixture clashes as well which is good.

I'm probably one of the few that would still take Batch, with the right team around him and not as a No.1, on his average he's still a good shout. He upped his game when Darcy came in and I'd like to think if Doyle could potentially be back then it would get the same reaction. Just needs to show a bit more grit on occasions....and an apology for letting us down at the end of the last 2 seasons wouldn't go amiss!

Aside from not having the intelligence to realise how much he offended certain folk on the terraces during the final meeting, the bloke has absolutely zilch class and would never apologise. He's burnt his bridges as far as I'm concerned. He is dire when the pressure is on and simply folds when it matters.

Over the years to be fair, he has learnt to team ride but no more improvement in him. Best shot of him.

Welcome back Sedge. Saw him at Somerset twice last year, looked much improved. Guess he is going straight into the main body?

Yes in at 2 or 4 but may switch places with Charles Wright subject to the scores they get, could see them switching places a few times.

Haydon's being paid to guard the godforsaken place....

I first went to the Abbey in 1969 there was a cheap side so those toilets were used horrible. Then i always watched from bend three i wonder how because i don't like watching there now i prefer the second bend a much better view. Edited by sidney

I usually take a walk round ER see a couple of old mates, but i always watch the main part of the meeting watching on bend two watching Darcy there this year was terrific an amazing talent.

Yep, agreed. Only riders who looked remotely in the same class were the great Leigh Adams and the very fast Zagar in Robins colours.
