MattK
So if the PP for Swindon still isn't in place, and there's a formal application to be made along with a 3 month waiting period, building wouldn't be able to start until the end of February at the earliest? Is this the case? I think our best hope is that the Abbey can be preserved for another season in 2016 Outline planning permission was granted in 2007, so I don't think the detailed plans for the stadium need public consultation. However, I do think it is nieve in the extreme to think that these plans will simply be rubber stamped by the council, given the size and impact of the project.

SCB
Wouldn't the first 4 all be classed as heatleaders? Zengi shouldn't be. He only rode about 2 or 3 meeting as a heat leaders.
A ORLOV
Zengi shouldn't be. He only rode about 2 or 3 meeting as a heat leaders. He is a prime example of the screwed up averages due to riding mostly as a second string and swapping places with Nick Morris.

Rose Wright be good if we could Hansi is on a low average and could still bang in a few points for The Robins, would like to see him back in redn'white...would be 3 members of the 2012 title-winning squad. van wolfswinkel
Swindon have a great bunch of loyal fans, have had to put up with some crap over the years...the lack of effort by the riders because of not being paid, and relative lack of success, but these hardy thousand plus souls come back for more. The Robins have been going for 66 years, a long time before Tezza was even born. Now firmly established as a top 4 club the Arsenal of British speedway,,thanks to Rosco's management skills, the fanatical Robins fans deserve a new stadium, honesty, a top side, and don't want to be messed around by promoters. Need to be a Poole Mk.2 as every club should aspire to become. A good team in new surroundings could get the crowds up to the Poole level of 2000, and give the town a team to be proud of, unlike struggling STFC. A long way from the 4-8000 folk who turned up in the days of Briggo, Ashby, Kilby, Broady etc., but those days are long gone in British speedway. Crazy robin
Guess we couldn't compete with Poole for Hans & that is a shame. Let's hope Rosco has some good signings lined up who will at least maintain their average.
orion
Good signing for Poole on a low average ..Hans can and will do a lot better and really cares about league racing and the clubs he rides for .is his record 3 finals and 1 semi in the last 4 years ? .
