HadrianDog
Well our main sponsor has pulled out now , I fear we may not even come to the tapes in 2016..... What- you mean that the Bears are not 'Finished' Always did think they were tempting fate by going down that part. route. Maybe the company concerned are wary of being associated with disreputable management practise?
ecksact
They'd better come to the tapes! I've just moved into a place close to the track! I'm not from this neck of the woods but I need my speedway fix!

Maybe the company concerned are wary of being associated with disreputable management practise? What are you talking about part route .. What does that mean , the plain simple facts are that a generous sponsor who has tried to buy into the club has decided that his sports sponsorship budget is going elsewhere , probably because of the 3clowns + Van Straaten who run Redcar.

In any retail environment it is imperative to keep any sponsorship deals and sponsors onside and kept up to date with what is going on. Now i do not know Havelock senior's business acumen but from the outside looking in it leaves a little to be desired let's just say it appears to be a it's my ball and your not playing attitude. It is a little worrying for Bear's fan's though that this has happened so close to the start off the season.
screm
While I am no fan of Havelock snr and the way he goes on, I hope either the sponsor has a change of heart and renews their sponsorship or a new one can be found somewhere that allows Redcar to start and finish the 2016 season. Sponsorship, either team, or individual in this day and age is vital for any club.

screm
Good news for Redcar that they have tied up a sponsorship deal, no quite sure if it will make a difference with Matej Kus.

HadrianDog
well maybe if all those that don't want him donated a small amount to the 'help buy Matty' fund,,, maybe a deal might be met Lets pay to send him to our 'nearest and dearest' rivals and hope he is crap. Interesting option that 'ruff' old chap. But then again, if he truly is so vilified by his own supporters, then heyho. Hang on though- are we talking Kus here or Haverlock?

MADHATTER
At the end of the day Redcar is running a business like every other club . They probably need the money from selling Kus to keep the club running and if Newcasle have offered peanuts ( not saying the have ) just says what Newcasle think he's worth . Redcar will obviously try to get the best price they can for him like every club would do for their asset .

I genuinely believe the high figure placed on Kus is just there to put another team off, no one in their right mind would pay the figures that are rumoured, and the Havelocks no that. They really want Kus to stay at Redcar, hence the reason for asking silly money. This is why it is important to a riders livelyhood that the BSPA should intervene with arbitration.

So what is the rumoured figure and who are the "Havelocks"? To be honest, a lot of Bears supporters don't want Kus back and even if he does return, it'll still be an uncompetitive side. You are probably correct about it not being competetive, as for the figure are rumoured it would be unfair to state them as they are rumours.. However if i remember correctly the figure to come to Berwick last season was in the region of 20k. I am sure there a lots of fans at redcar who do not want Kus back, but equally there are many who do.
