Najjer
Facebook tonight (after Martin Dixon Talk-in) "Redcar Bears Speedway News given tonight if we cannot find final rider we may not start the season. Hopefully with nearly 2 months till start this wont happen. The search for our final rider is continuing on a daily basis, one was actually a done deal but fell through last minute and this is only worse case scenario. We still have nearly 2 months to go. That is pathetic to say the least.

szkocjasid
Not according to Speedway star as his PL average is 9.18, plus he rides in Sweden on a Thursday. That must be a mistake by SS 5.51 X 1.4 = 7.
Bash
Maybe they use a different multiplier if they are classed as heat leaders due to the revised heat format meaning they ride against heat leaders in every race. Seems to be nearer 1.6.
Reviresco
EL Average 5.51 / 0.6 = 9.
Yearbyred
The comments Havvy senior made last night are "clarified" in the link below. Possibly. http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/speedway/redcar-bears-boss-denies-threatening-10809830#ICID=sharebar_twitter
ruffdiamond
Looks like a few have been touted, but all seem to be 'too busy' on Thursdays,,, there must be someone twiddling his thumbs on Thursday nights,,,
williamfj
Looks like a few have been touted, but all seem to be 'too busy' on Thursdays,,, there must be someone twiddling his thumbs on Thursday nights,,, I'd imagine that more & more people who attended Redcar will be twiddling their thumbs on Thursday nights thanks to the inept promotion running Redcar into the ground
mikebaker
And more will do as I have done. Not attend whilst they run it.

Aceslider
At least they are advertising some events in advance: Guaranteed speedway at Redcar till 2106 - well done Havvy. That's what you call commitment
mikebaker
Havvy has stated that there are no 8 point plus riders out there in local media rag. Yet he signs Nielsen. All Redcar fans know that the best option is two 6 pointers or thereabouts. That would get Jonas B Anderson at reserve, potentially best in the league. It is quite apparent that Matej Kus does not want to be at Redcar. Even with him in team, would leave us well under the limit.

Seem to remember Tabaka was useful ,,
mikebaker
Has he looked at The Hungarians Magosi &Tabaka ?. Seem to remember Tabaka was useful ,, Magosi last rode in Premier League in 2008. Can remember him being poor at STMP. Was more at home on big tracks. Tabaka suffered bad injury in the 2013 Playoff Final against Somerset. If my memory serves me correct. Involved in an incident with Nick Morris. As has been stated many times on Bears Talk. Imo best options are Anders Thomsen/Steen Jensen and Rasmus Jensen. Would mean Anderson at reserve. Both Steen and Rasmus, have shown a liking for the Media Prima Arena. It is not usual for him to give us constant updates so i wouldn't necessarily take silence as proof of inaction
TheScotsman
So it's Jacob Bukhave on a 7 pointer. What's the info on him then? Edited February 18, 2016 by TheScotsman
StevePark
So it's Jacob Bukhave on a 7 pointer. What's the info on him then? He scored 11+1 at Kent in July last year as part of the Danish Touring Team from the number 1 berth.
