Woz01
I bet it'll go up by a pound more or less across the board. What should be a ten pound sport will nearly be twenty Coventry have dropped the prices for every age group apart from OAPs who have an increase.

Starman2006
Coventry have dropped the prices for every age group apart from OAPs who have an increase. Which i think is a discrace. OAP's should be paying less, not more..

SCB
Thats the sort of stupid reply i expected... No, it's a question on a discussion forum to allow discussion to take place. Try it, you might be good at it and enjoy it. Why should OAPs pay less?
BWitcher
Thats the sort of stupid reply i expected... On the contrary, you've stated OAP's should be paying less... one assumes you must have a reason behind that.. you were simply asked what that was!
BluPanther
Why? Because Starman say's so, just be happy with that...
Woz01
Thats the sort of stupid reply i expected...As I thought you just said something without any substance or knowledge. OAPs in general have a hell of a lot more disposable income than in the past and its only going to continue to rise. The gap between pensioners and people who work is closer than ever. To be honest I wouldn't mind OAPs paying a quid or two less but £4-£5 less is a hell of a difference. To be honest I wouldn't mind OAPs paying a quid or two less but £4-£5 less is a hell of a difference. To be honest I would not be so sure about the amount of disposable income continuing to rise for pensioners.............I know that my mother does not have the disposable income she had a year ago........it is substantially less.............and I know a lot of older people who are feeling the pinch due to non existent interest rates and other reasons............. On the other hand I agree to a point about the difference in costs between what we as adults pay against what pensioners pay to get in..........a couple of quid yes............ The other thing is that now that students are being forced to stay in education until they are 18 is there going to be a reduction for them instead of cutting off at 16.................should they and pensioners pay the same rate............ Just a thought............ RP
beckettlion
There aren't student rates at Leicester. Know it's always been easier for me financially going to Cov than the Lions for that reason. Can hardly afford me dinner, let alone tickets to watch our lot get smashed! Surprised it isn't a lot cheaper for students, would attract a young crowd and they'd probably put a fair bit behind the bar too!

Gemini
I'm sure Neil said it applies to university students as well? Perhaps he'll confirm.

Gemini
I'll have to get down to Brandon and support which ever team is racing against cov each week then! Ha Ha! Be careful as that's how I started off in 1984. You might find yourself becoming a Bees fan eventually. Anyway, better stop before the forum police turn up as this is a Poole thread.
