SteveLyric2
This is all very simple. The 'heat leader list' does not mean those riders will start as heat leaders. It simply means you can only sign 3 from that list. Some of the riders on that list will have a lower average than riders not on it.. and thus if they are in the same team as them will begin as second strings. People seem to have this conception that if you are on the 'list' you have to start at heat leader.. you don't. Excellent piece of intelligent lateral thinking. You see what you can achieve without too much vinho?! buczkowski - hehe ......gonna need a few replacement air fence panels Looks like you've got 2 already!! Starman2006
If anybody follows Speedway Plus they will see a comment from I think John Stock as to why he no longer goes to Speedway and a glimpse of better days. The demise I blame on Poole and Matt Ford or rather the refusal of others to stand up to him. Yawn..

wealdstone
In the case of Poole fans and Matt Ford the term rose coloured glasses is totally inadequate.

You're actually your own worst enemy with your posts. Do you not think that the fact that you, and every other poster on here, already knowing that Poole will win the 2016 Elite League is a problem? For a League to be taken seriously, and worth winning, there has to be at least the illusion of competition.

But thats up to the clubs involved to make that competition..Poole run the club how Matt see's fit. You wouldn't expect Man Utd to ask Chelsea how they run there club, would you .. For a tin pot sport like speedway there does need to be a collective pull towards ensuring the strength and survival of the few remaining Elite League clubs, otherwise you literally will have no one to race against in a few years. I agree, but you have to look after your own, Poole as a club come first and formost. Each club has promoters, don't they ? So end of the day its down to them to sign 7 riders who will give entertainment and a posible shout at the title. Take BV last season, how well they did, any other club could do the same.
