proud panther
Half a point could make a lot of difference to a Premier team, but most Elite teams will be a lot more than that short of the limit, the way the teams are looking. Not worth arguing over either way. Winning every match at a canter is a big put off for home and away fans. That's the last thing the sport needs. Regardless of the quality in the league we need Equality. We want a situation where every club can win and lost at home as well as away .
Steve Shovlar
Thought equalty came with the points limit. All teams start equal and its for clubs to get the best 7 in that points limit. Â I certainly wouldnt want Poole to win every meeting at a canter. Every meeting a last heat decider would be great. As long as every heat 15 is a 5-1 to Pirates!

Well we could have Lindback Holder Andersen North Kacper Newman Ellis  Would that be better for you. We have a points limit for equality. We are not going to build a rubbish team to give the rest a better chance.

SteveLyric2
Or judging by everyone else's opinion of KK we could have him instead of Antonio - just to even things out a bit!!!! Did he, love to see him back one day, he would get people through the turnstiles but really only a example of what we could have.Bit worried about KK the way he performed last season. g13webb
You lot make me laugh. You don't give toss about the sport as long Poole win. We have a massive problem at the moment attracting top riders, but you want them all to ride for Poole  When we have a points limit far in excess of the quality available, it always lends to unequal teams. That's common sense.........  But please don't worry about that.. Edited November 11, 2015 by GRW123

Are you saying Poole shouldn't build as strong a team as they can?  I understand and agree with your point about the points limit being too high.

We have a massive problem at the moment attracting top riders, but you want them all to ride for Poole  Ummmmmm no I do care about the sport as a whole..........and no I don't think EVERY top rider should be at Poole..............  When we have a points limit far in excess of the quality available, it always lends to unequal teams. That's common sense.........  Remember that reserves are included in the averages this year so it actually equates in most cases that the points available for the main team will be about 32 to 33.............surely the objective is to build a team that will be successful.............any rider has the opportunity to sign for any club technically.............what is to stop other clubs from signing big name riders.............  But please don't worry about that..  All clubs have the same rules and the same ability to sign whoever they want to............its that some clubs are able to offer better deals than others that stops some riders from wanting to sign for certain clubs.................  RP
