YerRopes
NOPE, Darcy (as far as I am aware) has never said he wouldn't ride anywhere else...it has been Noddy that has said that many times. He wants to be back again in 2016 as has been quoted as recently on the GP web site a couple of days ago. http://speedwaygp.com/news/article/4577/chris-seeks-status-quo I was referring to Poole supporters saying that Darcy would not ride for anyone but Poole (not what Darcy may or may not have said).. BTW...I'd like to see Magic return to Swindon at some point
Crazy robin
Chris has said in the past that he would ride for another team if Poole couldn't fit him in. He might have changed his mind but he definitely said it.

YerRopes
Fair enough, but this Poole supporter has never said or posted that Most riders will go where they can earn.. They may prefer to be at Poole or anywhere else, but if they can't get in the side (Darcy Ward), they will go wherever.. #DW43

Pirates Of Poole
I have a feeling the quote from the echo with regards to being led by new rider could be incorrect. I think Chris will lead the team on a 7.47 average. We may hear some more team news later this week. I simply can't see where any high average riders will come from and teams will have more 7ish riders as their heatleaders, building a more solid all round team. I hope I'm wrong but simply can't see many options. Edited November 11, 2015 by Pirates Of Poole

Crazy robin
Last winter I believe. Yes when it looked like Poole were going with Darcy & Magic. Not sure if it's correct but heard that Chris had spoken to Swindon if he was left out of Poole's plans.

stevebrum
Wolves almost have a 6 pointer in Howarth Since when was 5.53 near 6?
Gemini
Since when was 5.53 near 6? Okay I'll ask because I don't really understand decimals. How many more to make it 6? Is it .47? If so that sounds pretty near 6 to me.

g13webb
Gutted to of lost Magic. I know it was never likely but I really took a shine to that guy! There are many people who will and are missing Magic. Such a smooth, exciting, talented rider, that's a bonus to any team. But most of all he is well mannered and down to earth as well. What a pity all riders can't be like him........
Woz01
I agree with Steve, in the context of team building 5.53 is not near 6. If someone asked me "what's Howarths average" id say 5 and a half. Half a point could be a big difference.

If someone asked me "what's Howarths average" id say 5 and a half. Half a point could be a big difference. That's the point woz01, since when do we round up averages to the nearest point? If his average was 'almost 6' (which in pedantic terms I'd take as 5.90) I doubt anyone would want to sign him (on EL average). No surprise that some choose to try point score over something mundane. What is your problem?? Bradford Ace made the point that sides were going to have 6 point riders at No1 and GRW123 said "and a 6 pointer at reserve" to which I replied that Wolves almost have that already with Howarth. Then Mr Pedant (you) started. I'm not interested in trying to score points - especially over something as stupid as this! Tell you what, please put me on ignore because you are doing my head in now - after all the anti-Swindon cr@p last season and now this. Merry Christmas

Tell you what, please put me on ignore because you are doing my head in now - after all the anti-Swindon cr@p last season and now this. Merry Christmas It's clear you have the issue with me. Your best bet is to take a piece of your own advice and put me on ignore if you don't like reading my posts. It's pretty simple and easy. You were trying to make an issue of 5.53 being 'almost' 6 when in speedway terms there is quite a difference between 6 and 5.53 when team building. It's assumed anyway that kyle is using his PL average but if not then his EL average is much better at mid 5.5 than 'almost' 6. However if you prefer to not have a pedantic reply best not make one yourself. Moving on.
