foreverblue
How is Ellis on a 3.00 when it says he's average is 4.89??!! Because it's the PL average thta is used and he Didn't do PL last season so comes in on a 3. Rules are confusing i am only assuming that is how it works!! Pirates Of Poole
4.89 is he 2014 PL average! 60% of is well under 3 so starts on a 3.00. Well within the rules, he was heading to us or Swindon but we had our pick before Swindon. LisaColette
Oh okay. I get it now! Actually no I don't!! In the statement it says Ellis joins the club on a 4.89 average, 0.79 higher than Newmans... ??!!! Woz01
It says on the website his average will start higher than Newman though. Must be a mistake.
Pirates Of Poole
That figure quoted is incorrect Ellis is a 3.

Crazy robin
Said weeks ago that Ellis was going to Poole & got shout by a few including some clown who said he knew him. Whatever rules get brought in next year I bet Newman still isn't at the top of the reserves so Poole always get a good pick in the 2nd reserve. Hang your head in shame Elite League promotors as you don't stand up for the sport or your fans. MrMungo
4.89 is he 2014 PL average! 60% of is well under 3 so starts on a 3.00. Well within the rules, he was heading to us or Swindon but we had our pick before Swindon. IIRC, his PL average is/was 4.67, so really can't see where the 4.89 comes from. Maybe they are introducing 'inflation' onto averages now? You never know with this lot!
Woz01
Have they somehow converted his NL average?
MrMungo
Have they somehow converted his NL average? Wouldn't have thought so. He averaged 4.14 in the EL last year, according to SpeedwayGB figures, so it can't be that either. Puzzling!

Crazy robin
his dad i believe. Says it all then as this was nailed on the minute Lakeside said they were loaning him out for a season. Waiting for all the bs that will come out that it wasn't the case.
Pirates Of Poole
It was Poole or Swindon for Adam. Hence why Swindon did not name their second rider as were hoping for Adam.
SCB
It was Poole or Swindon for Adam. Hence why Swindon did not name their second rider as were hoping for Adam. Which is odd. Swindon seem to have allowed Leciester to pick ahead of them then and get Starke. How the hell have Leicester with the best tier 1 rider by PL average been able to get Starke? Odd move from Rosco/Swindon on the face of it.

Rosco's not known for his tactical nous, looking like a weak reserve pair again.

Poole win the league & get a higher pick than a team who finished below them. Only in speedway could that happen!!
