heathen chemistry
You have to have a mixture of experience and young. For the average he is on it's a great signing. you already got experience , So you think Hans won't have a 7 point average next season!! Off form this season for a team and fans that didn't support him. If he doesn't get at least to a 7.5 point average next year it will be a major shock. fans didnt support him? will poole fans support him if he drops another 2 points off his average - i think not agree with that. as shown in the euro championships, can still beat the best, and when in front, a very good blocker yes a blocker - cuz he was slow
Bees_Man
If Andersen is just outside the heat leader grouping then I'm giving up this sport. Total corrupt untransparent sport out there!
LisaColette
Why are people getting their knickers in a twist about whether he is or isn't classed as a heatleader? Chances are he will be classed as heatleader. From what I've seen posted just a couple of Poole fans saying he'll be classed as second string, but nothing concrete as I see it.

Crazy robin
If Andersen is just outside the heat leader grouping then I'm giving up this sport. Total corrupt untransparent sport out there! Don't think you'll be the only one. Either don't have a limit & let teams sign who they want or stop with the crap that it's done too make the sport more even. One team will dominate in both cases but at least their will be honesty in the sport at long last. As a heat leader on his average Hans is still worth a point improvement & a good signing. Why do they really make the sport so difficult & why did they not listen to the pit falls of this race format when it began.
LisaColette
Its AGM week and Poole have started team building - people have to get upset!Lol! I don't see the point in getting stressed about something that may not happen. But if that's what they want to do I'll leave them to it (whilst rolling my eyes and shaking my head!😁)
MrMungo
I would ask him if there was any left in cold storage for another Matt Ford! The more the merrier. Doesn't he have 2 teenage sons?!

Chris Harris doesn't fiddle his average each year though does he?? Rides poorly at times until the playoffs, then rides like a world champion in the playoffs as they don't count for averages. When it's only two riders over 8 points Harris is 7.99....two over 7, Harris 6.99.....Still Coventry and their riders never manipulate the rules as they're whiter than white.........not!!!! Let's face it all teams do it at sometime...'cough' Troy Batchelor having a couple ef's to lower his average to get Darcy in 'cough'. Clever if you can get away with it, seem to remember Janniro doing it every season starting badly then riding well at the end of the season. Doesn't he have 2 teenage sons?! Yes he does but the reference was to Matt Ford's father.

Wow Harris must be some sort of mathematical genius to get 00.1 below an average in 2 seasons for a rule that had yet to be decided. Harris obviously doesn't get the credit he deserves. Hans wasn't lowering his average, he lost 2 points a meeting! How much lost wages is that? Edited October 22, 2015 by woz01

mdmc82
If he is a heatleader does that mean we can only have two riders above his average? In your dreams Yes, or 1 above & one below as long as all 3 are on the heatleader list. You can pick 3 riders off the heatleader list and 2 of 2nd strings not on that list. Still has to also add up to the point limit overall However we know anything could still change.
Woz01
A 2nd string could in theory have a higher average than a heat leader. Obviously not enough detail is known until its ratified early November. For example if Poole signed Summers he'd have a higher average but will be a 2nd string rider Edited October 22, 2015 by woz01
dabbsjoe
there will be a cut off point for heat leaders in the averages, no way will someone with a higher average than a heat leader be a second string rider.
Woz01
there will be a cut off point for heat leaders in the averages, no way will someone with a higher average than a heat leader be a second string rider. Yes they will otherwise whats the point having a list to combat the discrepancies in the heat format? Summers got his 6.7 riding 2nd string, Hans got 6.5 riding virtually all season as heatleader. Lindgren got 6.1 and I would bet on him being a heat leader.
A ORLOV
there will be a cut off point for heat leaders in the averages, no way will someone with a higher average than a heat leader be a second string rider. There will, many riders who rode as second string against reserves have a false average. This is why this list has been bought in.
