Crazy robin
Apparently we have 2 imminent signings possibly even before the Nov 3rd meeting. I'm guessing will be Chris Holder and Brady Kurtz. Kurtz was a certainty as his several low scores at the end of the season for Somerset proved. Woz01
I was disappointed we didn't keep him, he's on a decent average. Was convinced he was off to Swindon.
mdmc82
Me neither. Good luck to him - From Bees to Pirates - Bees fans will be pleased If he rides like he did most of this season then we will be very pleased 😉 Did think he would be at Swindon though

Red Panda
Never saw that coming...........but its a good move and he has always done well at Poole...............definitely a Back to the Future day........... Â RP
mdmc82
Doesn't Hans Danish club also ride on a Wednesday?
foreverblue
Brilliant news always liked him even when he rode for coventry or got loads of flack after 2004 world cup, who would have thought he was just lowering his average for Poole! mikebv
With the fact that the reserves can move in to the main body next season the draft riders will get official EL averages, PL averages give a fairer reflection of their ability last season as they haven't been restricted to riding at reserve all season. As many have been riding for the last two years in the EL against each other under a 'defined race structure' then surely that is the best 'barometer' of their true level?? Â You cannot get a more level playing field than protected races so maybe just use the reserve race performances as their average to determine the pecking order for the draft? Â Won't deliver for any new riders so maybe the PL average with some worked out conversion is needed for them, but for the vast majority of reserves there is at least one years data and often two to make a truly 'informed' decision.. foreverblue
Doesn't Hans Danish club also ride on a Wednesday? Matt Ford has said he will be working with Hans Danish team manager to keep clashes to a minimum
mikebv
Matt Ford has said he will be working with Hans Danish team manager to keep clashes to a minimum Genuine question, as I am not 'anti Poole' in any shape or form... Â Would Poole get a 'guest facility' for him if there is a clash? Â Because they shouldn't should they as they know when signing him the clear 'self inflicted' potential for him needing to be in two places at once... Â As I say, genuine question which applies to any team doing the same...
Woz01
With a 6.45 average does this mean Hans might not make it into the new heat leader pool? He SHOULD be in the heat leader pool as he rode most of his matches as heat leader last season.
Woz01
Â He should be but somehow I don't think he will be... If he isn't we all might as well pack up because whatever way they choose to decide the list he should be on it.
waiheke1
By any sensible measure he should be on the hl list. But wouldn't surprise me if they've simply agreed a 6.5 average cut off, which Hans would conveniently fall just under.

Summers for example will no way be on the list.
MrMungo
Considering they said they are doing it because of the imbalance I hope not. Summers for example will no way be on the list. Will their averages be altered in some way? Or could we see a situation where a "heat leader" starts as a HL with a lower average than a second string, or a heat leader will start in a second string position because of averages?
