Sidney the robin
They are not equal in ability though are they. Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder will both prove to be better riders than Fricke in my opinion. Fricke believe me is a very good rider, and at the mo is two steps ahead easily of Brady/Jack. They wont unless they conquer Europe, Fricke has coped well in Poland the other two have to reach that level. All three i really like all bloody good riders hand on heart for the next few years Fricke,Holder,Kurtz but i could be wrong Doyley is the hope to expire to for any young Aussie now. SteveLyric2
What a surprise you still think you are correct. For an ex journalists, your not very good at finding out facts!!!! Try Wikipedia if you can't find the British speedway Website rider list. Just type in Mark Lemon and read it for yourself, because you are 100% wrong about him being a Poole asset until he retired!!!! He was A Newcastle asset from 24th November 2010!!!! Not sure where you get ex-journalist from?? Never was, never have been. I bow to yours and Wikipedia's obviously superior knowledge. The article I referred to was from last September re Lemo's proposed 'Farewell' meeting (rather than testimonial - my bad) which he decided to postpone due to darcy's injury

I did - but never as a journalist which is what you claimed! Plenty of other senior jobs in a newspaper!! Dont think a paper round quite qualifies... Several hundred paper rounds in the early days - and not just at the Echo!!
Alex2000
Lost three times to Matt Williamson how did he get the call over Bates ?😜 because he scores 8 in the main body of an el team and has dropped 1 point this season at home here in Eastbourne! Wonder if Bates would be British U21 champ if it wasn't at Sheffield?
Woz01
Ellis is more likely to finish a race though. Wonder if Bates would be British U21 champ if it wasn't at Sheffield? He's won it twice the other time at Wolverhampton.
Sidney the robin
And Bates has also won a under 19s championship if he had been a Poole rider would that had made a difference.? mdmc82
Ellis is more likely to finish a race though. Wonder if Bates would be British U21 champ if it wasn't at Sheffield? Answer to that is yes as the first time he won it, it wasn't at Sheffield. This is the 2nd time he has been British U21 champion
LisaColette
And Bates has also won a under 19s championship if he had been a Poole rider would that had made a difference.?No, he's rubbish at Poole. Answer to that is yes as the first time he won it, it wasn't at Sheffield. This is the 2nd time he has been British U21 championThat's fair enough then. Of course he was in front of him at Kings Lynn, Ellis had broken his collarbone just over two weeks previously. The thing is it's what the GB manager thinks is what counts. I think he looks at more than the one off meetings and more who's on form at the time they're needed

Sidney the robin
No, he's rubbish at Poole. That's fair enough then. My point is being a Poole rider does make a difference there is no doubt about it.And so far in Pressure situations / Bates has the upper hand the roll of honour shows that.Of course he was in front of him at Kings Lynn, Ellis had broken his collarbone just over two weeks previously. Sidney the robin
I think you should apply for Rosco's job, you obviously know more than him.Are we all not entitled to a opinion then? is it not aloud.Even Rosco has made errors over the years even some of the Robins fans at the start of the year have questioned this years Robins line up.
