Starman2006
Poole's stadium is in a great location and wouldn't want to lose that, but surely they are a big enough club that they could merit owning their own facilities at some point... there are football clubs up here with half the support that have not bad (small) stadiums. I absolutely hate speedway having to rely on the dog mob, and in particular Clark whatshisname. Im very sure if Matt had the chance he would love to have his own purpose built Somerset. But land in Poole is at a premium.

I must agree with your comment regarding the land in Poole being at a premium , We played at Poole Town this season & as you know for such a excellent run club & a promotion winning team it was one of the poorer in the grounds in the division . One of the Dolphins officials explained they would love to a new ground but there is very little land available in the area . Cracking team & a lovely bunch who run it .

Yep its a very well run club, but the higher you go the more its going to cost as you know. They are going to need an average 800 to make it pay, currantly runs at about 350. Thats the problem in Poole, we have limited avaliable space. so we have to hope we can stay at the stadium for the forseable future which i think we will, and Poole town will just hae to continue to re develop the Tatnam. But one thing they do need it temp stands, because in the main its like watching a park game, and you really cannot see a lot from ground level. And that, in the long term will put people off attending. Edited June 15, 2016 by Starman2006

Panthers89
Holub dives under Newman last bend and hit grip and both clashes, Newman went over the handlebars and landed flat on his front and broke his collarbone like that, lied motionless for a bit and was on same corner as Lewis Kerr had his accident so a relief when ambulance came on track and Kyle sat up. No one has seen them for soooooooooo long...think they may have abandoned ship!!! They've decided to ignore June and focus on the key 'summer' months of April and September, all for the good of speedway. He's also had problems with his engines but you wouldn't know that would you. So perhaps you would like to list of riders who can come in and replace Kyle long term ? Gavin, you do talk a load of guff. you have an Ipswich thread, bugger off to it. But no, thats not as interesting, is it.. Your not any sort of fan, your a troll. Worrall, Auty , Wright, Starke all riders who could come in and score what Newman did if not more. But i would like to wish Kyle Newman all the best and hope to see him back on track soon never nice to see a rider injured
