Poole 2016

Excuse me i was the one pointing out Thomsen only got 3 Stevebrum just expressed an opinion that he thinks Kurtz is better, having seen both i am inclined to agree although it appears that Thomsen has beaten him when they have met

Totally agree mate, I watch Kurtz week in week out, and he is an amazing talent. Even last night his score didn't justify how well he rode.

I thought that by putting a 'lol' and a 'wink' at the end, it was self-evident, but hey ho I'm sure RP and I won't fall out over it!! :nono::shock::wink:

At Darcys meeting on Wednesday, out of the two, Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder, Jack Holder looked the better of the two, scoring in all his rides, whereas Brady won the two reserves races and was well last in his other three outings.

I would say Jack probably seen (not ridden) the track more than Brady has (educated guess) and probably has tips on how to ride it😉 Though that's not to take anything away from Jack's performance, he did really well and always battling. Think he'd be in the 2017 team.

I agree that Jack Holder looked the better rider on Wednesday. Brady looks great when he gates and is in front but when he missed the gate he looked disinterested!!

Jack looked far more on the pace when chasing for first/second place.

Maybe a bit unfair on both based on just one 'friendly' meeting but you can only say what you see!!

I'm no bragging, I'm point out Kurtz scored less than Thomsen last week. I am right. I have every right to laugh at you for being wrong.

The last bit is fine. Not going to argue with an opinion based on what you have seen. But to come on here laughing because Thomsen scored 3 when Kurtz only scored 2 makes you look a little silly.

I was laughing at you because you claimed Thomsen is better.

I should be surprised you didn't get that but I'm not.

It looks silly claiming someone is much better when they too have had poor nights - which was my only original point.

There is absolutely no doubt that Thomsen is the better rider internationally but until they both ride a full season together in the UK, youll never know whos better in the UK.

Thomsens progress has been nothing short of outstanding though.

If i had to tip whod make it further in the sport... Id tip thomsen. Hes already establishing himself over europe.

getting riders signed up on fake low averages is how ford does it

miedzinski was signed on a 5 , millik was a 4 , both put over 2.5 points on there average

swindon wanted miedzinski as he was there asset but ford didnt ask for permission to talk to him swindon complained but i think a back handed deal had already been done ,

millik as a 4 pointer was a joke , but it was another one of these foreigners than comes in on fake low averages

next seasons example could be brady kurtz who will probably be about a 5 , reckon he could put 2 points on it .....

So what stops other promoters for signing these riders?

Edinburgh vs Somerset 2/10/2015 - Brady Kurtz 011

Somerset vs Glasgow 09/10/2015 - Brady Kurtz 2110

Maybe Brady Kurtz is not as good as some think?!

He will be good, but he is not ready yet doubling up would help him, and for 2016 another year in the PL with doubling up

I claimed he's better, he is better. Your point that Thomsen can score 3 at Edinburgh is proof of that - Kurtz can only score 2!
