CB252
I just love the way the strongest team makes themselves stronger and the other teams do nothing about strengthening. You gotta hand it to Poole everytime. The problem is, at this point in time, the other teams are handcuffed. Poole are simply replacing an under performing heat leader with another heat leader from the list. Other teams need to replace a second string with someone off the heat leader list, but they can't do so until 1st May when the list gets torn up.
Agrotron
Are you guys going to support him this season or will you give him the 'bird' like the last time he appeared in Poole colours? Now I have always supported Bjarne, the only negative Poole poster I see on here to post is the ScottyNicholls loverman or whatever he is

semion
Fair play to Matty. He is never one to let the grass grow. Icing on the cake with that swap. Must have caused him sleepless nights after watching that lack of fight and spirit shown when they threw away that certain win at Brandon. Agrotron
You mean scottyfan? Yes I am surprised he has not been on here spouting his anti Bjarne stuff already something to look forward to I suppose. This is a move I fully support Matt on and has pleased me know end. Only thing I didn't really agree with was letting Starke go thought he did a good job last season tbh
Panthers89
Good signing, pushing Buckz to a 2nd string role which will only strengthen the Pirates, barring injuries another title for the Pirates.

Steve Shovlar
Signing Bjarne is a backward signing for any club, he has made a steady decline for years now. Makes sense tho for Poole as doubt Bjarne can be as bad as Watt although I can imagine a lengthy spell for him in reserve so it should be a win win. Clearly not as good as he was ten years ago but still very decent. Watched his televised meeting in Poland last week and he was very good. For a rider who has maintained his place in all leagues it shows his professionalism in the sport. Has a 6.55 average in a tougher league so capable of that easily enough and a rider who can beat the best. I had a good chortle at your post stevebrum. First sentence ridiculing the signing and saying it is a backward step as he is in decline. Then in the next sentence you say he can't be as bad as Watt so its a win. Lol! Replacing him with the 'Village Idiot' at Lakeside, was more of a "backward signing." Yep a dreadful call at the time. Probably a money saving excercise though. E I Addio
Good to see up and coming youngster Stuart Robson getting a chance under the EDR scheme. This is definitely the way to bring the young ones on. What a fantastic scheme it is. Must be the end of Dave Watts career though. Can't see anyone taking a chance on him on his average at the moment. Leicester might have him instead of Ulamek though I suppose.

Panthers89
Is Daveys average still 7+ then? Shame for him as a stint in the premier could of done him the world of good.

Crazy robin
An Elite league team would have to be mad or desperate to sign Davey who will find his average will probably rule him out of a Premier League slot as well.

Have the rules changed again on that then? To drop down I thought it had to be the average at the START of the season under 6......

If this is true it really does beggar belief. The people running the sport are running it into the ground and it won't be long now before the sport is dead and buried in the UK as a professional sport. If only the BSPA had been strong enough to grasp the Independent Body in the winter of discontent we might have been moving forwards by now rather that sliding backwards into oblivion, encumbered by a set of rules which are unfathomable and lack any transparency. Nice job ... RIP UK Professional Speedway. Edited April 25, 2016 by beesknees

The EDR scheme could be such a good idea if it was done properly, but it's almost if they sit there trying to think up ways of making the sport less and less credible.

It seriously finished alot of the fans I used to go with at Swindon but at least Robbo is just under 40 so has years ahead of him to improve
YerRopes
Sorry Davey has gone but he was really struggling with personal issues which seriously affected his racing. I hope he gets his head together and gets fixed up soon. Welcome back to Bjarne. No doubt this makes us a much stronger team as he can score anywhere. Guess he debuts in 48 hours time. Good stuff tinged with sadness over Davey. Our hearts bleed don't they Steve...
