semion
With Poole Town worthy Champions of Evo Stick Southern League and will now step up to the Conference South will Eddie be looking to move them into Wimborne Road ? If so will he also look to take control of the stadium and indeed the Pirates ?

semion
I would if I knew what trolling was. Just remarking on what a fine Job did with the Cherries and indeed is doing with Poole Town ... So where to next ?

Just remarking on what a fine Job did with the Cherries and indeed is doing with Poole Town ... So where to next ? I would think it depends on how they get on next season. I may be wrong but I don't think their current ground satisfies FA specs if they get promoted again. Could cause problems for the speedway if there is a concerted effort towards PTFC returning to Wimborne Rd. There is not room enough for dogs, football & speedway. It would require a major rebuild of the stadium (can't see the FA approving the glass stand), or one of the sports loses out. As the dogs hold the lease it won't be them so if PTFC are allowed to move back then the Pirates would need to find another home. poolebolton
I'm glad bjarne pedersen is riding for us because i'm too young to remember him from his first stint. However, would Thomas H Jonasson not have been a good choice.

Lisa we may not see eye to eye about a lot of things but i respect your opinion and knowledge. We will never agree about Tai, and i will always loathe Matt Ford, but i feel we have that love/hate relationship on here. Â I know he supports your club but please dont lower yourself to getting involved with the forum clown. As for the Tai thing, I think I've made myself clear about what I think, so I will shut it down now (you'll be pleased to know! )

The council own the stadium. Stadia UK (greyhounds) have the lease (probably 10+ yrs remaining). I think Poole Speedway rent it annually but I'm not sure.

Nick, there is very specific criteria for grading of football grounds within the pyramid structure. Grade B (Conference North & South) must have security of tenure, a capacity of 3,000 with the ability to increase to 4,000 by end of March of 2016/2017 season, entrance by 6 turnstiles with the ability to segregate home and away supporters. There are many other criteria but this the main areas where the FA will insist and inspect on.  I have been involved in this at my own local non-league club. semion
Tesar, are there not time scales involved on when the ground has to be ready ? For example if Poole are looking to get to the top tier of English Non League football for season 17/18 when would the ground grading have to be in place ?
