Bout time they ditched the comfort of the EL for ambition. Watched Ellis all season at Brum and he was way too good to be in the NL. Reckon Poole will bring out the best in him which in turn is great news for his parent club Lakeside. I'm baffled tho why PL teams are queuing to sign him up. Maybe he has been approached by some PL clubs ? In last weeks SS he said he may not do PL and concentrate on international open meetings instead. Maybe he's looking at getting his face known abroad and pitting himself against better riders on better tracks, all bodes well for future development, really rate the lad, hope he manages to pick up sponsors for some good backing this season, he could come on in leaps and bounds 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unfortunately our presenter Nigel - who runs MMX Events - has been having hospital treatment and was unable to host it. Get well soon Nigel. As for the 'who said what' debate over Chris Holder, I thought it was well known that if Darcy had escaped his ban, then Poole would have gone with Darcy and Magic, which would have meant Chris having to consider another club if he chose to race in the EL. However, the debate actually started over whether Chris himself said that he would only ever ride for Poole. The Echo article in December 2014, referred by GAME ON, actually quotes Matt Ford not Chris, so technically Starman has been correct in saying that he has not seen or read Chris saying he would only ride for Poole!!
