Gavan
Why wouid you be bothered, you support Ipswich remember... :icon_smile_clown: damn then i guess i shouldnt have commented on the Newcastle, Edinburgh , Belle Vue and Kings Lynn threads today then! give it a rest fool. speedway fans on here can comment where they want. The Poole thread isnt exclusive to Poole fans. apart from the odd statement on Somerset you never comment on any other thread!! Bit strange if you ask me You are incorrect Gavan - get over it on another thread!! ok so can any club sign 3 heat leaders then go and get someone who hasnt ridden here last year and have them as a second string? Surely if Andersen is on the list and Buck has a higher average then they both are heat leaders?
Pirates Of Poole
Have I missed something? has the heat leader list been released? Buzz will start as a second string, but will have a higher average than Hans. All other clubs can do this. Which is then ridiculous and a farce as Buczkowski attained his average as a heat leader in the same format.

It does make sense when you see Summers has a 6.8 average and rode all his meetings as a 2nd string against Lindgren who has a 6.1 average. Lindgren had much tougher races during the season. Therefore its right that Lindgren will be on the list and Summers not. I believe that you can only have 3 riders on the heatleader list but they wont necessarily start in heat leader positions, the positions will be based on average. If the bspa put a statement out it MIGHT make it a bit easier for everyone.

But if someone like Buck who obtained his average as a heat leader comes back and is a second string below a heat leader thats wrong surely? Lets be fair Buck got his average as a heat leader and Andersen rode as a second string some of last season so if Hans is on the list then Buck with a higher average HAS to be a heat leader
Pirates Of Poole
I assumed the heat leaders from the list had to start the season in those roles at 1,3 & 5 regardless if another rider has a higher average in the team? But would iron out once the first set of averages were out?
Gemini
Gawd! Reading these confusing posts it's no wonder that I can never understand the rules in Speedway and gave up trying to work them out years ago.

LisaColette
This is part of Matt's longer term plan to 'rebuild' for the future and probably the worst kept secret around Poole bearing in mind MF announced his interest back in May!!. Brady (and Jack Holder) have been regulars at Wimborne Road this season - which again is not surprising as he lodges with Middlo. I guess Brady will start at 2 and he and Kyle will do a bit of alternating between 2nd string and reserve. Quite a brave move for Brady with no doubling down/up!!! I think 2016 will see a bit of 'consolidation' by Poole - maybe giving some of the other teams a chance to win something. Oh, I didn't realise Brady wouldn't be riding in PL!!! Fair play to him. Hope he's got some rides abroad. And what? A different team winning the league? Surely not! Is that even allowed??

Poole Quay 7
I'm sure it said in the local press that Buzz was going to be heatleader, pretty sure Matt was quoted as saying it. You are correct Lisa - "PIRATES chief Matt Ford made a shock move for Krzysztof Buczkowski and then insisted: "He can beat anybody in the Elite League." Polish international Buczkowski has joined on a season-long loan from Peterborough and is set to assume a heat-leader berth with the reigning champions. The 29-year-old, who possesses a 6.48 average, takes his place alongside Hans Andersen,Kyle Newman and Adam Ellis in the 2016 septet. And while Ford admitted Buczkowski's switch would come as a surprise to some, he stressed that the 29-year-old would deliver in the skull and crossbones. Ford told the Daily Echo: "There is always a move that comes from the left field by us, one rider who the fans don't necessarily know I'm interested in, and Buczkowski is certainly that rider for next season. "He will start in a heat-leader berth and I think he will remain there." http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/speedway/piratesnews/14026378.Speedway__Buczkowski_makes_shock_Pirates_loan_switch/
