Lukas
Don't think so..they beat us here last time without Masters..anyone know if Wolbert is riding?
scotchopper
Don't think so..they beat us here last time without Masters..anyone know if Wolbert is riding? I think he is extremely doubtful. Monarchs will need to dig deep in this one, no time to feel sorry for themselves after last night. Will always back them and a win is not out of the question but if they keep it close I reckon they can pull it off over 2 legs.
Mr Blobby
Don't think so..they beat us here last time without Masters..anyone know if Wolbert is riding? He won't be. he will give us decision on Tuesday as to whether he will ride on Friday or not. As for the meeting the way we are riding at the moment and minus Kevin I can only see a convincing panthers victory. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Did ok least time that there was a tractor convoy down the A14: Rohan Tungate 2, 3, 3, 2, 0, 1 = 11 Read more: speedwayupdates/peterborough-ipswich-pl 12/6/15 It got a bit hot in the last two but he isn't meeting Kurtz, King and the Ostrich tomorrow, and Cooke apart, he can beat the rest at a track he can race on, so thankfully he's not riding at Foxhole. Rohan could do very well. Youre right that he is more suited to riding EOES that Foxhall. Rohan can be as quick as anyone when his head is in the right place. Heat 1 could be crucial. A good first race and he may go on to double figures.
bigcatdiary
i thought he was a Coventry asset . Well originally he was a Wolves asset I think he is extremely doubtful. Monarchs will need to dig deep in this one, no time to feel sorry for themselves after last night. Will always back them and a win is not out of the question but if they keep it close I reckon they can pull it off over 2 legs. I think most fans will have Edinburgh down as favourites but the result yesterday asked some serious questions about the Monarchs and showed they can be vulnerable if put under pressure. Crump99
i thought he was a Coventry asset . I thought that the asset system died a couple of years ago: "Swindon co-promoter Gary Patchett is refusing to buy Hans Andersen or Troy Batchelor and admitted “the asset system stands on the verge of collapse.” - I assume that it's recovered and that it was only in trouble at the time because it involved Panthers. Gemini
i thought he was a Coventry asset . I don't think so and he'd never be in a Bees team again so if he was an asset I think Mick would have off loaded him by now.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Waiting for fitness of riders to be confirmed - Anders being one I suspectteams are declared 5 days in advance so could/should be available for release. If there are any late changes due to injury/illness then can just be updated. BluPanther
Edinburgh are sweating over the fitness of German racer Kevin Wolbert who missed the second leg of their League Cup triumph last weekend and both legs of the Premier League KO Cup final due to injury.TEAMSREADYPOWER PANTHERS: Rohan Tungate (guest), Michael Palm Toft, Anders Thomsen, Simon Lambert, Ben Barker, Rafal Konopka, Emil Grondal.EDINBURGH: Craig Cook, Justin Sedgmen, Kevin Wolbert (or rider replacement), Erik Riss, Sam Masters, Max Clegg, Robert Branford. Mr Blobby
Wish we would move R/R away from number 3 puts to much pressure on Riss IMO and leaves us weak in 2 races were Erik is out with a reserve twice. Would rather see R/R at 2 and Sedgy moved to 3. Edited October 3, 2015 by Mr Blobby
Gr8scot
We need Sam better too as he has been sick all week Hoping for a good safe meeting for all and keep the scores close for the second leg. Unfortunately, we can't go now so good luck lads
Fenway Bleachers
Agree with RR at 2....Sedgy can still join Cookie in heat 1 and Sam in 8. Erik can slot in for heat 5 or 11 depending on gates etc. Sedgy gives him a reliable partner throughout

IMO given that it was reported last Sunday that Wölbert would be hospitalised for two days, there must have been a distinct possibility that Kevin would be unfit to resume this week. Under the circumstances, declaring Wölbert at 2 and Sedgmen and 3 would not have been so unbalanced had Kevin been available to resume riding. If his availability for this Friday is still uncertain, I would hope we do declare KW at number 2, as against Somerset it appeared to place too much pressure on Erik Riss to be partnered with a reserve in three heats. I would have moved it to no2 even if kev was available first match back after injury can always be dodgy so would help there.Given that there is no trs I would also move erik to no3 at the dale Edited October 4, 2015 by scotchopper
Lukas
I don't think it will matter too much as Cook, Masters, Sedgeman and Riss ride the showground very well and will pile up the points...unfortunately I think it will be a narrow Monarchs victory but a great season for us none the less considering the bad luck we've had...a big thank you to Ged..the best guy in charge we've ever had..and long may it continue.
