TMW
Well i'd pay good money to watch Boxall any day when they have a helmet on who cares how old they are lets face it bringing a succesion'young' through has hardly made the UK world beaters. We are relying on the likes of Hans Anderson, Peter Karlson, Greg Walasek to keep our EL going. Even Jason Doyle had 'reached his level' and should have been left for dead but now look. Who would have thought top 6 in the GP at 30. Shock horror Edited October 9, 2015 by TMW
KIRKYLANE
If Britain is going to get back to the top then it needs to breed a batch of young talented riders who will go on to be world class. At present , we allow young European riders to get valuable experience in the PL and EL which allows them to develop in to world class riders. It is time to reverse this and give our lads a better chance. I agree Britain has had a thin time of it lately.... but is time to change this.
gee jay
No he didn't confirm that! He said the aim is to run both in the EL and PL but clearly stated that, "it's not yet cast in stone." i thought it was E.L. & N.L. ?

Alan_Jones
It is.......take no notice of the poster, he has his own agenda. It was, think it's just NL again now. Edit: Having just read the Roger Cearns article in Speedway Star it seems that not only were Lakeside not the only EL team looking into moving to Kent but there are other prospective EL promoters, so ignore my previous comment! Guest
How will the welcomed decision by Lakeside Hammers to continue in the EL in 2016 affect the suggested interest of Kent Kings applying for Elite League status - especially as it was suggested Kings would race on Fridays? teaboy279
If we ran both on same night I don't see an issue. After all it has been muted for a few seasons that all meetings should be on the same night for the good of the league and of course the riders too. SCB
Another Kent muddle. Why oh why, oh why didn't they stay quiet about EL aspirations until they knew they were in? Certainly seems odd for a club to announce something like this (albeit tentatively) then not go through with it.
blueherb777
What do you expect if you have an old dinosaur like Mr Silver there? Things will not progress at the Club until he goes. Club finished BOTTOM of the League this year. I do not go anymore and will not return until he goes.
Alan_Jones
Len Silver has been going public with stuff that he shouldn't have done all season.
Ben91
There's absolutely no reason Kent couldn't be accommodated still, however it appears it's NL only for the Kings then.

Yes we finished bottom of the league but didn't we do fairly well in the other competitions?!!
Alex2000
It doesn't look like they have been included at the AGM it just says same 8 teams in the elite

Tbf to Len Silvet he has made no secret of the fact he got caught out with unusually low NL points limit dictating his 4, 2, 6, 7 But their 1, 3 & 5 have done their job. Incedently that was bought on by scunthorpe who signed a hotshot Fin and pulled out of the NL Edited October 21, 2015 by TMW
