frigbo
kwoczala Kaiser zyto Bentke Teodorowicz Waloszek Off the top of my head.... At least 6 without having to think hard, making Woryna hardly a pioneer. I detect you may need a lie down in a dark room to calm down. Zyto, Kaiser and Waloszek were all pretty good. Teo and Kwoczala decent too. Edited September 28, 2015 by frigbo
orion
Numerous? Name them please. I suspect we'll end up with a handful.......The Poles were so free in allowing their riders to travel weren't they? Well, in a parallel universe perhaps. By the way, numerous means many. Anyway, get well Zenon, even if people are trying to make petty points about who was better than you. They can't have watched you ride or have met you. The irony of people making petty points .

Not all of them, no He averaged less than 6.50 in both seasons with Poole. Waloszek, Kaiser, Teo and maybe even Zyto averaged over 7 and Kwoczala over 8. It's debatable whether Woryna was the best at their peaks, but he definitely made only a small impact riding ovee here. Third twice in world finals with a high total 13 points not bad surely? he did ok in Brtain surely his averages show just how hard the old BL was.? Pioneer probably not was Autrey a pioneer? would you say Keeter was more of one than Scott.?The Poles when they came over in my memory never had real full seasons always interrupted hard to judge. I think it's widely recognised that Autrey opened the flodgates following the likes of Bast and Woods not sticking it out.

steve roberts
I wish Zenon all the very best. I recall the spectacular crash (captured by Mike Patrick) during the Australia vs. Poland Daily Mirror Tournament encounter at Cowley. My personal favourite, however, was Marek Cieslak during his first year spent at White City. Some of his passes from the back on the notoriously flat track were something to behold!
