Newcastle 2016

Recommended Posts

Firstly, best wishes to Shelby Rutherford.

More laps put in by the riders to add to yesterdays practice, first time for Tero, who got going quickly.

Looking forward to next weekend and to the season ahead.

Hope Shelby is ok? Hate hearing of injuries at any time of year but before the season has started in earnest is even more galling!

Shelby had an argument, with the starting gate, think it was a draw, the gate got bent and Shelby got a few cuts and bruises, he was well enough to take a selfie with the paramedic in the ambulance, so I think he'll be good to go lol.

And how's the starting gate

Getting better. The tractor was going to pull it straight, and I believe Ryan Burton, the other Buxton rider, is delivering the mended electrics in time for our Sunday meeting. All good to go :D

Thanks Guys. Good to hear nothing worse. Typical Aussie then - though of course he isn't an Aussie as he's riding in the NL...

Hope all goes well at Byker this season. Always enjoyed my visits there.

I'm not sure Rosen for anyone would be a good move.

I hope we don't have to make a switch but if we did, Andre would get my vote. Will Lawson was one of the most colourless riders I have seen and I wouldn't be in favour of his coming back even if he wanted to (which, from his interview this afternoon, I wouldn't be sure about anyhow.

Tero for me all day if he is fit.

I would love to see Tero back fighting fit. Fingers crossed he gets the all clear soon to resume.

Compton sounded like he may have things sorted once the averages change somewhere.

Rossen does not look like he is going to kick on and be a heatleader but would make a solid number 2 IMHO

As I say fingers crossed Tero gets his knee sorted and is back very soon :-)

I see that Tero is out for the foreseeable future, such a shame, will this mean the return of Andre Compton after his showing on Sunday.
