Oh yeah? Elite take Thursday and Friday?

Too bad if your club is Edinburgh, Ipswich, Plymouth, Redcar, Sheffield or Somerset, you mean?

Aye, right!

Sadly it wouldn't be the first time that the top level of the sport screws up and shafts the second tier to survive.

One or two high horses need to be dismounted from, especially crescent girl who seems to know what I am thinking when she doesn't have a clue.

My preference, as outlined on one or two EL threads in recent weeks, would be for EL to be Monday & Wednesday, otherwise it would be a waste of time.

Will there be a dog track at the new Swindon stadium?

Radical thinking but why not say "This is the race night for the Elite League, if you don't like it then drop into the Premier League." We can't keep sacrificing the good of the sport as a whole for one or two clubs.

We've gone a little "off-thread" here, but as far as the quote I've highlighted, the EL, under the Sky agreement as I understood it (it might have changed), is that the EL has to have a minimum number of teams in it (not sure if it's 7 or 8), so to say drop down to the PL might be easier said than done.

Also, as to your first question, yes, there will be dogs at the new stadium.

Track Work at Brough

Don't forget, if you want to join the track staff for 2016, we will be having a meeting at 2.00pm at Brough. Sheeters, red flag/graders needed.

Before that, at 10.30am, we will be finishing off the sheeting and repairing the office floor. Shorter shift tomorrow, but if you fancy helping out, just pop along.

See you there

I'm not sure if it's changed either, but it was a minimum of eight. Sky were league sponsors at the time, so maybe don't have so much influence now.

Am I right in thinking some form of meeting will take place in next few days to decide how much "Matty" Kus is going to cost the diamonds. I hope the commitee will make this decision with regard to speedway being a shoestring sport finances wise and let Matty come to us for a sensible fee.

where did the winter go! Season 2016 is now just a month away

Dan I'm reasonably confidence it'll be nearer our valuation rather than what I suspect Mr Havelock is asking for.

Totally agree. I think the final figure could be determined based on the same status of what the club paid for Ludde last winter. There is a similarity of age, ability, average and prospects so really a sensible valuation should be similar.

And if he doesn't get his valuation I take we will be hearing from angry of Teeside, which should be entertaining if nothing else.
