screm
the bagpipes come from Pakistan. You`d think they would've done the decent thing and kept them there.

idanthyrsus
owt for nowt and the scots grab it wid both ands . Sounds about right. Does anybody want a musical instrument that sounds like a cat having barbed wire pulled out of its backside? That'll be the Jocks then... bigeddiechek
Christ! Since when have the Scots had a monopoly on bagpipes? I was sure there were Northumbrian pipes? Newcastle need to hurry up and get that final signing in place. It's going loopy on here!

Newcastle need to hurry up and get that final signing in place. It's going loopy on here! The Northumbrians don't export their "barbed wire out of cat" music pieces. The Jocks send them everywhere. Northumbrian pipes are also not (thankfully) particularly numerous. I'm bored of all this Matej Kus nonsense and wanted to bring something really important into the debate. Matty hasn't exactly pulled any trees up at Brough,,, infact he would probly struggle to pull the skin off a rice pudding on recent form there,,, how do know what pulling barbed wire out of a cats bottom sounds like, have you tried it ???,,, i've heard of super glueing cats to the white lines on roads, but never barbed wire

StevePark
2016 Newcastle fixtures here: http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/fixtures.asp Fri 22 April (Plymouth away) won't be happening (according to Plymouth FB page), so ignore! Also Sheffield away (9th June) should start at 7.30pm NOT the 7.45pm stated (Sheffield have started at 7.30pm for the last two or three seasons now).
PaulS
Kus (not a Newcastle asset) seems to get a mixed reception in this forum - and that's only relevant in the event we get him. Who is available from the asset base? Anton had a poor last season but if he gates more will surely score better than last year? I know some readers might say waste of points limit, but nil transfer fee and should improve. Also riding in a very strong team may help him. Just an idea, given that rider #7 seems to be well and truly stuck - I think some readers have doubts about both riders but one will cost you nowt. Christian is in theory another asset who might be better around Brough than Kus but given he has a testimonial booked in it seems the back injury is the last straw for him? :-( Robbo would have been ideal and finished off a team sure to win silverware, shame he could not be tempted back. ruffdiamond
Paul S,,, I think Anton is a steal on his average
andys
Anton is potentially a very good rider he has shown in flashes what a good rider he is, he just needs to sort his gating and, I also believe his confidence has took a battering after the crashes he has had if we can't get kus anton would be worth a gamble imo

bringbackHalifax
Anton is not riding in Uk this year. Has already been over in December and taken all his gear back to Sweden.
