HadrianDog
Pan B could be Andre Compton (6.61) he's a former Diamond! We could do worse, but I think Kus would be a more viable option given Compton's recent form at Brough.

dantodan
Yes it is only the business of the two promotions involved, but I fail to see how you can 'suppose' and trivialise it by saying "it's probably only a few hundreds of pounds". I can tell you it will be many thousands and that is a very significant amount, hence the need to go to Arbitration. Â Oo-er I wish I could withdraw my comments about the transfer fee. . I am truly amazed at how much is needed for a transfer, if its many thousands for a 7point rider! Speedway should be able to rely on promoters co-operating for the common good of the sport. So please forgive me for my trivialisation of the situation and lets wait for the appeal tribunal

Tsunami
Going to start the track work hopefully on Sunday 31st January. Anybody fancy helping out would be most welcome. We need people to paint/roller the kick boards, whilst the rest of us replace fence posts prior to refitting the kick boards, and reassembling the air fence. Warm old clothes needed, and hot drinks and bickies provided all during the day. We start at about 9.00 and stop about 2.00 but just turn up when you can. Â Many Thanks
dantodan
I have just added a piece to the Newcastle Speedway History Website regarding race jackets in use in the 1960s. If you are old enough to remember the 60s you will want to have a look at this http://www.newcastlespeedwayhistory.co.uk/1960s.htm  The added piece is at the top of the 1960s part 1 webpage. I thought our 1960s teams used 2 race jackets. no border up to 1964 and a broad white border for the later 60s. I now have a picture of a possible third racejacket with a small white border. If you can supply me with any info re the small white border jackets I would be grateful.. Er my wife says I should stop playing with my websites and get out more!
dantodan
Hi All just answered my own question. The small white border racejacket was used in the 1970s. Sorry if I wasted your time. I must put more water in my whisky

BenR195
The reason havvy won't let him be loaned out is because kus wants a transfer away not a loan move, as far as the figure goes, havvy can be stubborn but it's his right to ask for what ever he wants, since he owns the contract, he ain't gonna let him go cheap and lose money, and it's up to the 2 clubs to haggle a deal
