Newcastle 2016

yeah, your probly right and I suppose all the offices will be shut on Sunday and Monday with it being a holiday, so no admin folk around, but ye can only try :)

The new 1-7 would have had to be received by the BSPA offices probably on Wednesday morning as you need 3 full working days for it be cleared.

Maybe utilising nearly 1 extra point is a good option also, but was that in the plan,,,

Just bored at work haha, probably a flaw somewhere though in my ideas, there always is

Aye but maybe nextTuesday with a rider up to 6.24 would give more options?? I dunno, just use R/R this weekend, Rose is amazing right now

Newcastle fixture change. Taken from Newcastle Speedway Twitter page.

PL FIXTURE CHANGE: NEWCASTLE VS SOMERSET: DUE TO TAKE PLACE ON MAY 15th HAS BEEN POSTPONDED, DUE TO RENOVATION WORKS AT NEWCASTLE STADIUM.

Which buggers Somerset's Northern Tour (they are at Workington on Sat 14th).

So Aarnio's average for next month is 6.24, so wouldn't it be worth waiting until next month to make a change, because there'd be a lot more points to play with then we could get someone like Josef Franc (If he still even rides speedway, but I watched him in the WC a few years back and he's an ex Diamonds so knows the track) on a 5.67, or where did Steve Boxall disappear to? Maybe not the most popular rider but he seems like a hard riding number 2 for sure, and how well would Steen Jensen ride Brough? Impressed me for Berwick a few years ago, just some thoughts, probably waaay off the right ones, but there's nothing like starting some good ol' speculation ^_^

Kalle Katajisto 6.07??? A Finn for a Finn, and being part Finnish myself, yes please!! :)

Er, Boxall, surely not! Katajisto might help with flattening out the third bend hole, but not much else.

Is Pepe still riding speedway?

Haha, I don't really have a clue, just looking for people from the past few seasons that fit but have disappeared, also, I am bound to be wanting another Finnish rider ^_^

Seeing what Steve Park had just posted and given Franc's track knowledge, he looks good!! Although there is many factors other than that :P Scored better than Kus, Krcmar and Holub, which would make him decent in the PL hopefully, especially at number 2 and maybe him and Kus would make a good partnership and then Ludvig could be at 2 :o What a team that would be!!

Steve Boxall doesn't currently have an ACU licence or SCB registration so probably not really bothered.

Really? :( That's a shame, he seems like he could be quite a good rider if he put everything he could into it, I suppose the speedway life isn't for everyone all the time

Wonder if the replacement for Aarnio will be ready for this weekend, when it might be announced

Good to see Viktor with a place unforunately at the expense off an injured rider will be beneficial for him to have a season away from Glasgow and there is not much better a place than Newcastle and work under a top man in George English he will learn more away for a season than he would have with us again this season.

He should do well once he gets used to the track and settled in.

I was vey surprised at his scores in his initial period at Glasgow, even allowing him having to ride at number 1. I couldn't believe it was the same rider who scored quite well and was the leading U21rider.

His last meeting at Brough(might have been his only meeting) he showed a lot of promise when he sussed out how to ride it. I think we will have to be patient with him, but I am sure he will kick on from now especially riding with, and being captained, by a fellow Swede. Welcome to Viktor, it will be interesting what nickname he gets from Roy on the Mike. My thoughts are Pavlova, giving others their just deserts.

I'll close the door on my way out. :o
