ruffdiamond
And 7.13 means he can't be useless every meeting/ride. too true Dave,,, but since we already have 'mr inconsistant' on a 7+ average, do ya think they will be paired together, at say 3/4 ??? andys
If two clubs can't decide who decides the transfer fee. Many years ago,and I stand to be corrected here, was under the impression that the fee was based on the riders average.
dantodan
Â Can I ask why you don't want him? Â I can't see any alternatives out there, unless they know of a new 7 point foreigner. Â Â He is inconsistent
screm
  He is inconsistent  I take your point but I see Kus as a decent signing for Newcastle, and after all he comes with a seven point plus average so he must've been doing something right especially with the way averages are calculated now. IMO Kus is very much a confidence rider, give him some support, get his confidence up and you will have the kind of rider Berwick had a couple of seasons ago where he went from reserve to the No1 place.
erniew
Just seen on the Redcar site, someone has said their main sponsor has pulled out, if so, I wonder how that will affect our chances of signing Kus.
Chewbacca
His inconsistency is based on an inability to pass.  He gates, he wins  He gates behind a 3 year old pedalling a Triang, he finishes behind the 3 year old pedalling a Triang ( or has an 'engine failure')
Terrace Grumbler
He reminds me of Peper Franc. Â I hope we sign him. Most successful sided have an out-and-out gather. Â I just wish we could sign Robert Rooks son in his prime - now there was a class gating #
StevePark
  He is inconsistent  I'd have to check his results, but I thought he'd improved his consistency last year.  He guested for us a couple of times last year and certainly did the job up at Glasgow for us.  His inconsistency is based on an inability to pass.  He gates, he wins  He gates behind a 3 year old pedalling a Triang, he finishes behind the 3 year old pedalling a Triang ( or has an 'engine failure')  You could say that about a lot of riders.

He had wins at Brough last year as well as beating heat leaders at our place. I never thought, or hoped, we would sign him, but I changed my mind when I saw him last year. I think we will do OK at home, but Kus's away scores will make us very competitive. Â Remember Kenni Larsen was a bit like Pepe when he first came to us. I think Kus will do more than a decent job at Newcastle.

To The Point
you definitely seem like you're trying to sell him to us 'screm',,, hope your not just trying to inflate his price Screms right Matej is a good punt on a 7 ave, with a mentor like George who is able to keep a confidence rider on track. He may even increase his average a little, however don't expect it be over an 8 ave, he is about where he is, but if he can do that for Newcastle what more should you ask.

Rayleigh
Surely Lambert and Worrall should be the top end reliable riders, followed by Lindgren the younger, that makes Kus a second string, show me a better second string this season, in fact he would be our second heat leader at Rye House, some people don't know how lucky they are.

HadrianDog
TBH. I can really see this Diamonds side with the inclusion of Kus being quite literally a click and we crush you bunch against most of this season's PL teams. Remember this time last year when most of the controversy concerned whether Stevie had an inflated average and would be found lacking. If it proves to be Kus I only hope he proves to be equally 'lacking'

He also won a lot of crucial heats late on, many when he was still at reserve.
HadrianDog
Cant help but think that we will only ever see his best when he is properly managed. Successful at Berwick and was a very good guest for us last season. Just remove the negative part of the equation and he scores points en masse. Keeping with the Bandits connection- is he doing pretty much exactly what Charlie Gjedde did in an effort to move on?

Keeping with the Bandits connection- is he doing pretty much exactly what Charlie Gjedde did in an effort to move on? I think that Berwick fans think that Charlie didn't ride to his true ability whilst employed to ride for the Bandits. They seemed pleased to be rid of him. In the case for Kus, he wants away from Redcar and put in for an official transfer away from them. He has been a popular rider at both Berwick and Redcar despite his earlier inconsistencies.
