Chewbacca
God knows what is in a donner kebab. I only get one when I have drank "sufficient" to not care about it. You will know that I do some websites? Well I hear from lots of people around the globe who have spent time on me websites. If you are old enough to remember the diamonds in 1978 you may be interested to know that Kevin McDonald and I are presently swapping emails. Kev lives in Oz but comes from Papua New Guinea which is an island to the north of Australia. He was surely the only PNG rider ever! So if anyone is interested, I am building a piece about Kevin McDonlad on the Newcastle Speedway History website http://www.newcastlespeedwayhistory.co.uk/1970s%20part%20three.htm I hope Kev will send me stuff to add to the history website I remember his horrific crash. Awful.

Alan_Jones
Still no news of 7th rider It's intended to be Matej Kus but... George English says in Speedway Star: "After respecting the confidentiality of the rider and his club for many weeks now, we may as well go public and say we hope Matej will become the 7th and final member of our line-up for the new season." "We don't agree with Redcar's valuation and they don't think our offer is enough. Redcar insist on selling Matej and say they won't entertain a loan deal, so that is the way things stand on Monday January 4".

He'll be free to sign for a loan fee in march, whatever Brian Havelock thinks because that's the way it works as others have found out in the past . Probably go to arbitration and the fee will be set between the figure Newcastle want to pay and the figure Redcar want to receive.
Pinny
What a tosspott b havelock is. How can you expect to loan other riders yet insist on your riders going on loan to another club?! A knob of the highest order
JCookie
No doubt helps their cause they still need a final rider themselves and therefore could argue they want to sign him.

screm
I wonder how many of his 6 riders that he has signed are his assets ? My guess is looking at the Redcar team I think one rider is a Redcar asset.

Paddy The Rebel
What a knob brian havelock is expects everyone to loan him riders then when other teams want to do the same he demands a ridiculous fee. As others have said the sooner he leaves the sport the better, redcar are never going to win anything with his attitude!!!

I can't see any alternatives out there, unless they know of a new 7 point foreigner.
