ashtree123
To be fair, any responsible parent would protect and look out for their kids in any walk of life... Especially when working and dealing with adults.... Id do exactly the same, and it hadnt done him much harm so far... Hes only 17/18 and is going to do or say some daft things. Hes a special talent and should be looked after correctly. Yes I agree that he is a special talent, I hope Newcastle will give him the support and looked after correctly to which PETERBOROUGH FAILED, Rathbone quoted he will protect and help young Lambert but did the total opposite........and folk on here will believe Rathbone over Lambert any day Sadly your not getting rid of me that easily still a panther supporter "How strange you slag off Ged Rathbone after having a conversation with Robert who didn't go into detail - the least you could have done was speak to Ged as there are always 2 sides to every story (I didn't notice the rest of the 2015 team avoiding him, the opposite in fact everyone else seemed to get along well - now that should tell EVEN YOU something). With your obsession with Robert and obvious dislike of the Panthers Promoter why you want to continue as a Panthers supporter is beyond me (and many others I imagine). You only have to read the many other comments on this and other threads re the Panthers/Lambert situation to see your view of it is in the minority. I also believe there to be a lot of truth in Shads posts and I really like his comment about never revealing sources - if I told someone something in confidence that is exactly what I would expect. There is no doubt Robert is a great talent and it is to be hoped for his and GB's sake he(and his parents) learn a lot about commitment and attitude during the coming season with the Diamonds as I really do not wish to read of a repeat of the problems encountered at Peterborough throughout most of the 2015 season." I have been a Panther supporter well before Rathbone came on the scene and not going to stop coming, Rathbone just seems to be a sly false chap to me. give him his due he got the team to the semis but not my cup of tea, I have spoken to him on several occasions and he wouldn't go into detail about the problems with Lambert maybe because he know that he has caused the problems I think his parents have got the right commitment and attitude otherwise he wouldn't be were he is today without there help What else is he likely to say ? I'm unreliable and do what mummy say's ? No, of course not ... Don't think he would lie about things Just leave his parents alone, you should be praising them for getting him were he is today, Pleased to hear you draw your conclusion having discussed with all parties concerned - would have been disappointed if you had just picked a random number. I asked Robert!!!! Yet another alias from our resident loony me thinks Have also tackled Rathbone, but don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth ame="maneacat" post="2710540" timestamp="1447428667"] If I were the source and told something in confidence - doubt I would be too chuffed personal and confidential information was shared on a public forum. I doubt Lambert would discuss his contract details with anyone apart from his parents and I doubt Newcastle would either, so to put information an here about his points money is ludicrous any excuse under the sun and he won't be there ask Pboro fans. Also if he gets a Polish team it will be change your race night or lose your rider Lambert cares about only one thing Robert Lambert . hahahaha you are so sad

Endeavour
Looking good for the Diamonds in 2016. Strong solid signings so far. Interesting to see predictions in the Speedway Star next year. Ipswich were favourites in 2015.
Baldyman
Looks like Newcastle are putting a very competitive team together. Hopefully lambert will make a visit to foxhall next season.
hackneyrocket
As a Rye fan I'm disappointed that Robert is not going to be riding for us next year. Hope you enjoy watching him, seems a special talent.

Lewis Kerr, Ipswich?? Think you could be getting Mr Kus?
damosuzuki
Kus has impressed me this year. That would look like a very strong side to me.
Gazc
I think this has surpassed that. Not by a long way in fact this is just at it's infancy compared to the brown nosing you lot gave Cook. That's why when you post about Glasgow signing up all & sundry we can smell sh* te. Tsunami
R Worrall off to Glasgow it seems. Lewis Kerr, Ipswich?? Think you could be getting Mr Kus? Havvy is up to his usual tricks and demanding a transfer fee for Kus, despite it is OK for him to get loan agreements for his team. If he is not using him, he should be forced into a loan agreement. Never though I would be supporting an attempt to get Kus to Newcastle, but his year he has rode well, topscoring at Peterborough and Glasgow, whilst a guest for us. He is a lovely pleasant lad and, given time, he could master our track. Might not be on now of course, but Rose, Simon, Wilco, Kus and Rosen seem to be the best options at the moment. About 10.75 available, plus whatever reduction would be allowed from Lambert's average for NL duties.

Dandelion
I'd happily see Matej at Brough, think he's a great rider, if Matej and Rose fits, yes please
The White Knight
Once more the Newcastle Promotion has come up with the goods. Robert Lambert is a brilliant signing for the 'Diamonds' and I am looking forward to seeing who will complete the Team. Congratulations to the Promotion - they deserve to succeed.
ruffdiamond
I'd happily see Matej at Brough, think he's a great rider, if Matej and Rose fits, yes please agree with Dave regarding Kus,,, he had a good year last year, but never thought he done too well at brough. maybe he would get used to it and do well, especially if he gates,,, IMO,,, I think he is a bit 'Lindgrenesque', and dunno if Newcastle could have 2 in the team, but its worth a go If it were upto me, I would be throwing the kitchen sink at Richie Worrall (and maybe some gold taps),,, but seen as we've pushed the boat out for Rob Lambert (if rumours are true),,, maybe the limits been reached
