acclennell
oops, have I hit a soft spot, don't need to get the insult book out though, obviously not a speedway fan if you choose not to attend when you can You're obviously far too blinkered - it's the likes of me who speedway needs to return to the sport to help it survive - and I will put my attendance record against the vast majority on here also. But you're one of the pack on this forum who whenever sees anybody stating they will not return unless the team is worth seeing and requesting improvement, then trys to play the 'Superfan' card. Thing is though you're a dying breed and that's why speedway is up sh*t creek because thousands of once die hard fans are now staying away throughout the country. Dandelion
I have two words to say to you and screm the second word is off and you can take your pick of the first one - it's the likes of me you need to return to speedway and as I have said many of times before if you put a team on the track which is up to it I will. But how will the club afford to be able to put one out without the likes of you supporting them? Â Edit: lol maybe I should read the arguments that have happened before I post something Edited November 12, 2015 by Dandelion
screm
But how will the club afford to be able to put one out without the likes of you supporting them? Â In some ways I get what acclennell says, fans do need an attractive team to go and watch, and yes at some tracks promotions do seem to have become lazy at attracting fans who no longer fancy a night at the speedway, but I don't put Newcastle in that. History tells us that their promotion know how to put a top team together, maybe 2016 will be one of those years.

I can see this from his and my side too, I just want to see the crowds back, and the only way that can happen is with a good team, but we can only afford a good team if fans came through the doors every week

Arson fire
3 cracking signings, just give Lindgren a chance by not putting him in the #5 race jacket... Â Let's await the exciting signing of our new #1 so that Stevie can clean up at #5... id say #5 had easier programmed rides than any other position... #5 rides with or against reserves in 3 out of 4 races, No other number in the team does, aye heat 13 and against oppo number 1 twice agreed, but cant keep using ludvigs team slot as an excuse... Lets hope he has a good year and becomes more consistent.
allthegearbutnaeidea
but that will always happen,,, or there'll be even less go I've visited around 18 different tracks in Britain and the only two where I have witnessed the home crowd cheering when an away rider fell off was the Workington fans with Lee Complin and then they cheered again when it was announced that he had mashed his hand up and that it was broken in several places, at Cardiff when Pedersen fell AND INCIDENTALLY SEVERAL times at Newcastle when a Berwick rider falls off, mostly I have to say by one person who stands near the door to get up to the bar, avoided Workington for 4 years because of the way that us fans and Lee was treated that day, I don't go to Cardiff anymore and don't enjoy going to Newcastle what so ever

These type of people are best left ignored.

Bandits4eva
You get arses everywhere. .. must admit, I've never been back to Workington since that day either though... proved they've got a massive bunch of scummy fans over there! The rowdy ones at Newcastle are timid and laughable compared to how the Comet fans were!
allthegearbutnaeidea
never at Berwick???Not that I've heard but not to say that it doesn't happen, Newcastle is very close as can only watch on straight and Workington was a major incident as the whole grandstand cheered, obviously at Berwick being able to watch it anywhere it becomes quieter, I do not appreciate anyone who does it, no matter who they supportYou get arses everywhere. .. must admit, I've never been back to Workington since that day either though... proved they've got a massive bunch of scummy fans over there! The rowdy ones at Newcastle are timid and laughable compared to how the Comet fans were!Completely agree, it is 1 or 2 at Newcastle compared to a whole grandstand at Workington, been back once (this season) and they've improved slightly but not enough to be classed as a welcoming set of fans
