Jake Bower
How about: 1. Simon Stead 10.41 2. Arthur Sissis 3.71 3. Jason Garrity 8.46 4. Josh Bates 5.58 5. Lassie Bjerre 8.30 6. Zach Wajknecht 3.00 7. Nathan Greaves 3.00 Total of 42.46. Would make a cracking team!
graz gp
I can remember people saying Josh Bates was a liability, then Steady had a few words, now look at him very bright future. So Nathan needs a bit of a hand then who no's what might happen. So i think we should trust the promoters and give the team they build a chance.
speedy bill
So sad to hear my all time favorite Sheffield rider Andre Compton has been cast aside like some old sock, after he proved he still had a lot to offer the team.but there is no loyalty in any thing these day i hope he gets fixed up.Looks like we will end up with Stead just hope is ego doesn't spoil him . Although we shouldn't care about the opinions of other clubs supporters who should be more concerned with their own team building.

graz gp
I dont understand why people would not want Stead in the team. If he is fit its a no brainer. Before he got injured last season he was flying. So who should we have at no1, if not Stead. ? Kurtz nailed on at Somerset. I can't think of anyone other than Brady. spin king
Welcome to Nathan Greaves. Like others have said nice to see another local talent coming to the club. From what I have seen of young Nathan he appears to be a raw talent, yes he has made mistakes and I dare say he will make more, but he will mostly be facing riders of a similar standard and experience plus he will have riders that will help and pass on advice with the likes of Steady and Ash Birks and if he is prepared to listen and take on board the advice then he will not go far wrong. On the subject of Andre, there was always going to be someone unlucky and he won't be the only one it is the nature of the sport at least the club have informed him early which gives him plenty of time to get sort out with another club. (( in the lake district )One of the Young Shield wins was due to his performance at Rye House, he wasn't so good before he left, good to see he's got his appetite for speedway back.
