I can remember people saying Josh Bates was a liability, then Steady had a few words, now look at him very bright future. So Nathan needs a bit of a hand then who no's what might happen. So i think we should trust the promoters and give the team they build a chance.

Exactly. Although we shouldn't care about the opinions of other clubs supporters who should be more concerned with their own team building.

I dont understand why people would not want Stead in the team. If he is fit its a no brainer. Before he got injured last season he was flying. So who should we have at no1, if not Stead. ? Kurtz nailed on at Somerset. I can't think of anyone other than Brady.

Welcome to Nathan Greaves.

Like others have said nice to see another local talent coming to the club.

From what I have seen of young Nathan he appears to be a raw talent, yes he has made mistakes and I dare say he will make more, but he will mostly be facing riders of a similar standard and experience plus he will have riders that will help and pass on advice with the likes of Steady and Ash Birks and if he is prepared to listen and take on board the advice then he will not go far wrong.

On the subject of Andre, there was always going to be someone unlucky and he won't be the only one it is the nature of the sport at least the club have informed him early which gives him plenty of time to get sort out with another club.

i would like to see andre back at worky. steady guy and once a villain, but now a workington fav.. . hope he gets fixed up . (( in the lake district )

One of the Young Shield wins was due to his performance at Rye House, he wasn't so good before he left, good to see he's got his appetite for speedway back. Edited by comet49
