Steve55
Surprised that there has been not much mention of Poole or Proctor being in the teamThey'll both have to qualify for a visa first before anyone can think about including them in their team building plans! DAVEK
See Taylor Poole is Scunthorpe bound subject to state qualification
AndyK86
See Taylor Poole is Scunthorpe bound subject to state qualification Big risk on their part and can understand why we have not taken that risk because do not want to get stuck in a similar situation this winter like last scrapping around to find a replacement. No guarantee he will qualify, what if he has a crash in opening race of state championship. I hope he does qualify but I have no problem us not signing him as it is a risk and I am sure promotion want a 100% 1-7 signed up not 1 or 2 gambles. DAVEK
Same could be said for Proctor...
AndyK86
Same could be said for Proctor... Exactly, would love to see Proctor back in for 2016 but is it worth risking the wait and if somehow does not qualify find ourselves short on a replacement when everyone else signed up. Hel'n'Back
Says in Speedway Star that Sheffield didn't want Proctor or Poole, or any other Australian rider needing a visa, cause of what happened last year and I don't blame them!
Cupidstunt
i would say after the 2 last years Sheffield has had with visa problems they would be mad to wait to see if a rider will get a visa, when are the state championships in Australia? Blackadder
SS also says Sheffield are chasing 3 'exciting' heat leaders, one of them being Simon Stead and one being a former Tiger. In that bracket I can only think of Nico Covatti and Josh Auty. Have to assume that it wouldn't be Auty, and that the third one would be Jason Garrity. spin king junior
Shame that Proctor won't be back. Would be handy on such a low average but can understand why the promotion would be hesitant after last season.
