LisaColette
Is that a cryptic clue that it's someone else entirely? Jason and Ryan in the same team would cause havoc. Imagine them in the same race!! 🙈🙈🙈
A ORLOV
Imagine them in the same race!! You may get a few 3-0 scores
mdmc82
Would have to be for Sarj?? Why? I thought Bates was our first reserve as higher average Kerr and Sarj (or Bates) is much stronger than Bates and Sarj. I'd welcome the change. Would take us from weakest pairing to one of the stringer pairs. Would love Kerr in our team if possible. But risky as he would be returning after a huge crash but very capable and would strengthen us a lot at reserve if he hit form. Would also mean he wouldn't miss meetings due to clashes

mdmc82
Sarj was tier 1, bates tier 2. Averages are irrelevant. But I thought it was said that all tier 2 riders will start with a 3.00 average? Sarjeant starts with a 3 average whilst Bates starts with a higher one. Â Where have you seen it confirmed that it's Sarjeant who is our tier 1 rider?

I haven't seen that printed anywhere, only that the tier 2 riders stay at reserve. Cov picked Sarj first as their tier 1. Averages are irrelevant. Steve Worrall as tier 1 starts at reserve for the Aces whilst his brother in the main team, Steve has a higher average.

I have seen it said that Sarjeant stays at reserve throughout 2016 so that would imply that he is the tier 2 rider. I guess we will see once the lists are released. As for the Worrall brothers comment, that's due to the fact one is not on the draft list. Sarjeant starts with a 3 average whilst Bates starts with a higher one. Â Where have you seen it confirmed that it's Sarjeant who is our tier 1 rider? Â In the Tier 1 draft six of the eight teams protected a rider and Coventry decided to protect Sarjeant for some reason and he became the #6. Then in the Tier 2 they had the first pick of who was left and picked Bates who will be at #7 all season. I do agree that Bates should be the #6 and is more likely to score the points than Sarjeant. Â Steve Boxall doesn't have a 3.00 average and is a #

Woz01
No one knows anything officially but it would be strange if they graded riders by PL average yet have riders in tier 2 with higher averages than some tier 1 riders. We could have easily protected Sarj in tier 2 and got last pick in tier 1 but for some reason the bspa seem secrecy is the best policy so we might not ever know. SCB
Sarj was tier 1, bates tier 2. Averages are irrelevant. They were both tier 1. Any tier 1s not picked become tier 2. As the draft is done on PL average Bates is tier 1 and Sarj tier

beckettlion
I thought only 2 riders picked weren't in the tier 1 of the draft. Presumably those riders would be Clegg and Rose

mdmc82
Very harsh on Bates if true. Imagine Bates would get another team, possibly lakeside. Â All just hearsay at the moment though
beckettlion
Very harsh on Bates if true. Â Wouldn't be overly surprised if it turned out being harsher on Clegg... Bates rode for Wolves last year and might fit in their team in place of Clegg, a move I wouldn't be surprised if they made. Although I think Clegg would be the better option. Not as likely to win races, but far less likely to bin it in the fence and throw away points

Thought I had read that somewhere. Nielsen would be one of the other tier 2s I assume. Probably Sarjeant as the other, would be my guess
