ColinMills
blimey, despair in some quarters on here, the 1st three months or so are just irrelivent. teams can and will make changes (if ambitious). id love the bees to win the title on their last Brandon year, but without looking at the teams, id pick poole to be champions, simply because history shows, they don't accept 2nd best, and if needed, they will be lethal in making team changes at the right time

solrac
All 8 promoters that haven't got a clue how to run a strong collective product that has a hope in hell of surviving. Yes, even your beloved Matt is to blame. Still, we're lucky. One year to closure. Bring it on. 'One year to closure. Bring it on' No true fan would ever say that about their club.

Gemini
didnt coventry look into riders like smolinski, ulamek, sundstrom, michelsen, larsen, I don't think Smolinski would ride for Coventry again. Didn't they have a falling out? Larsen would have been a good signing but I thought they couldn't have him because he would be on the invisible heat leader list. Woz01
Once we signed King we narrowed the amount of riders available for the last spot. Would've been far better to sign a Larsen or Sundstrom (if they want an EL spot) then had far more options to play with. Couldve then signed Barker or Summers for the last spot. Game On
The icing on the cake will be when our asset Pawlicki turns up at Poole any day now!Think Poole will sign Holder and Watt Based on what? No other team is completed. As per last year, we can make changes. The team isn't what we wanted but for Christ sake let's see what the other teams look like and give our boys a chance to slide before bemoaning. This isn't aimed solely at you Game On, we do seem to have 5/6 regular posters who are constantly critical. Much to the joy of other teams posters. Based on what is staring me in the face, at this stage I don't need to see the other completed teams to see where we will finish. The team is shocking. Four draft riders/5 premier leagues riders. The promotion has no clue how to build a team. Who is going to up there average ? Edited November 28, 2015 by Game On

Garrity, Sarjeant and Bates will maybe Harris a little but yeah I agree with you with the line up at present. Other sides will look just as poor though to be honest. I doubt we will see this 1-7 finishing the season.
Robert Lee
Sheesh ... there sure is a lot of negativity on this forum !! 1. Be thankful we have another year of speedway at Brandon ! 2. Hardly the Promotions fault if Garrity was adamant he did not want to be an EDR Rider this year - at least we signed him as opposed to letting some other team having him instead ! 3. KK might not be everyones favourite rider but he was certainly wanted by almost every team in the country - given that Doyle, Zagar and Jonsson are already spoken for and the other GP boys do not want to ride in the UK - who mwould people want instead? Larsen ? Sundstrom Sh Pawlicki ? Don't think so even if they wanted to ride ... 4. People go on about Hans Andersen being a second string ? Do we know that for sure? No way - if Danny King is on Heat Leader List then so willbe Hans and maybe even Bucko too or maybe not ! but who cares anyway - I will be supporting the Bees ! 5. Think we need to wait and see the other teams before we write the Bees off. 6. Like most on here the signing of Kacper Woryna seems to be a risky one ( and hopefully not a Jamrog situation ) but hey you never know he may be another Pawlicki in the making! Not all Bees fans are as pessimistic and as fickle as some appear to be on this forum ... some of them actually support the Bees come what may !! Cheers What's wrong with another Jamrog situation? Kacper either comes up to scratch or is replaced. It worked all right last season, we were top of the table for most of the season, but came up short at the end for various reasons, nothing to do with the initial team-building. Garrity, Sarjeant and Bates will maybe Harris a little but yeah I agree with you with the line up at present. Other sides will look just as poor though to be honest. I doubt we will see this 1-7 finishing the season. Exactly!
Gavan
You obviously care as you are once again on a Poole-related topic!! How Matt Ford - even with Wolves and Lakeside - can outvote the others, goodness only knows?! BTW calling another poster an idiot or a jumped up fool is commenting on the poster not the post and is against forum rules!! Hope you enjoy another holiday. ah thanks so nice of you to care. stop being so precious Perhaps a permanant one this time. He's is a nusance to this forum.. Once again trolling posters and being abusive. When will the mods end this misery. oh woe is me. and by the way if you think im a nuisance and abusive take a long hard look at what you have written in the horse racing section where you call everybody idiots clowns and fools and then when proven wrong you show what kind of person you are by refusing to apologise. Sorry Coventry fans i just struggle to respond to forum fool

If your that good at predictions, what's the lottery numbers for tonight? The same promotion who picked a team that topped the league most of the year and provided some of the best meetings in a long time. Yes they make mistakes, alienate the fans and do/say some odd things, I'm sure many of the other promotions do the same. It's been said several times, the team that starts the season won't be there at the end if they don't perform. So who knows where we will finish. Keep the faith. Look as a poole fan of course I want our promotion to put out as strong a team as they possibly can, goes without saying. What I would love to see is other promotions raising their game and not, as you say, 'let poole have what they want'. Sounds simple I know but that's what will improve the sport in this country, not Poole dumbing down to give the others a chance.

BluPanther
And that's Pooles fault? If other promoters were on the ball like Matt Ford the sport would be thriving. Matt is certainly on the ball, the George Best of modern day speedway promoters. However, the sport will never thrive again because youngsters have no interest in speedway anymore. Many sports are suffering the same fate, speedway is not alone in dwindling interest...
B.V 72
And that's Pooles fault? If other promoters were on the ball like Matt Ford the sport would be thriving. No its not Pooles fault. They just follow the rules. Its the BSPAs fault the sport will never thrive unless they come up with a rule that will spread out the limited riders that want to ride here into all the teams so that all teams are competitive. One team on paper at the start of the season that is far stronger than all the rest just destroys fans hope of any success and a lot will not bother going. The other side of it is what joy is there in winning anything when most of the other teams are well under strength and offer no real competition at the end.just a very hollow victory.
