Daniel Smith
I've changed my mind, Coventry are looking a terrible side compared to what Belle Vue are knocking together
g13webb
This attitude makes me laugh. Tell you what, I'll sign for Lynn. You can't have an opinion until you have seen me ride, I may be amazing. It's not hard to 1. watch a few Polish meetings online and 2. Look at scores, who he has beat and how he's generally performed elsewhere. We haven't all gone, "Kacper Woryna - that sounds like the name of someone crap" - we have done a little research and he is NOT an EL second string level and unlike every other EL club we don't have the reserve power to cover him. And your attitude make me rock....... It appears Bomber and KK rate him and recommend him as a good bet. To me that says, he deserves a chance. You may well get on your high horse with your bias attitude, but in all honesty you know no more than the rest of us.... NB.. That offer about signing for Lynn, could be on the cards. We don't seem to have much going for us at the moment.....
SCB
The thing is you don't race a speedway bike for a living and this lad does, so that's a pathetic comparison. We all know it's a gamble, Horton has said so himself. However, senior professionals/GP riders believe he is good enough, I'd take there comments over yours any day. Harris has even stated he's better than him in Poland so he can't be that bad. Whilst Jamrog was a flop, we also signed the Pawlicki's in a stronger league and they did well. Horton has stated there isn't an abundance of riders out there who fit, other promotors are struggling too (some won't have a proper no1)! Guess all teams will be taking a gamble with team building this year. Ps I think you would be amazing, give it a go OK then, not me. Lets give Martin Knuckey a chance in the EL, he might be brilliant at it. Just because hes only a 7 point NL rider doesn't mean he won't be a 10 point EL rider and theres only one way to find out for sure isn't there? I've got £100 that said Kacper won't average 5 and £1000 that says he won't hit the 7.3 that Coventry have to play with. Anyone want to take me up on it? waiheke1
Kacper appears to be similar quality to Jamrog. - very similar averages in Poland last year. Plenty of safer options available, the likes of Barker, Thorssel, Josh G etc. Not neccessarily great signings , but 90% likely to outscore Kacper. and again, with the spare points Covernty have, Garrity at reserve would have made so much more sense - let's face it, he would have only been there for 4 meetings, so I can't see it would have been a bad outcome for anyone. Maybe you wouldn't have got Serjeant, but Barker, Garrity, Bates for example looks a fair bit stronger than Garrity, Serjeant, Bates.

Barker and Josh G are not option as they'd be doubling up. I'm sure we were told the benefit of our reserves was a point extra to play with in the 1-5 (but I could have imagined that), thats turned out not to be true. If you look at Dolgin ratings, Coventrys bottom 3 are all lower rated than 5 or the 8 tier 1 reserves. So in effect Kacper is not consider to be as good as Worrall, Wright, Newman, Auty or Kerr. But KK and Harris are saying he's good enough so I'm sure they rate him more highly than a Martin Knuckey? The point is we can't use anymore double up riders and it would appear the elite draft list will block a move for a strong forgien rider. So who else could or in your mind should we have gone for? I don't disagree the young lad will have a big job on his hand to attain an average above 5, so I'll kindly decline the bet. However he's in and whilst he is the fans should give him a chance. id still like to see you go for a wobble

Bees_Man
So if we start with two big defeats to Poole and the new polish lad gets a fat zero do you think Horton will swing the axe like he did with Jamrog? Does anyone know whether he's a gater, or more of a racer?
WembleyLion
I saw Woryna ride earlier this year when he won the Silver Helmet in Pila and he looked quite impressive. There again many Poles do look good in their own country! Time will tell!

SCB
They're continuing with last years race format. Which means we're doomed as King failed to average 5 as a heat leader. We're also going to lose out in the two reserve races. It makes our team look even worse knowing that now
