That seems to epitomise what is wrong with the attitude of some Promoters. I'm not and never have been a BSPA basher but a sport which depends so largely on gate receipts must learn that keeping supporters in the dark and treating them as if they are not valued is certainly not the way to increase attendance numbers.

Any professional business would have posted a constructive reply perhaps suggesting that the new signing has lots of potential, that it is hoped that fans will give him their support and that it is hoped that the poster will reconsider and feel able to continue his much valued support of the club.

Yeah it's pretty stupid. Should be encouraging people to go and let them have their opinion even if they don't like it. They are supporters not their pet sheep!

Thanks for your comments.

I received exactly the reply from Neil Watson that I expected. It was further evidence that my opinion of him was accurate.

I will "sit out" next season and see what happens with the situation at Brandon, but the one thing I am certain of is that the current promotion won't be seeing any more of my money.

i think the reality is that the promoters know what each others teams will be, clearly for there to remain the number of teams in the league the building points has to be reduced again. this is all part of living within the means. at the moment i have no idea if this team is good or bad, i have a strong suspicion that once all the other teams are known this will be one of the strong ones!

doesn't say much for the league but hey ho .

and at the risk of getting abuse, its about time the concessions price was adjusted!

What a great winning side Horton has put together a really well thought up team with strength and depth.

This quote really makes me feel Horton is a genius at putting teams together

“We’ve worked hard to get our deals done and I think we’ve done well. I’m very confident we have a team that can challenge strongly for the play-offs.”

Kacper is a good young rider, who Bees fans will find is very professional in his approach and will (hopefully) have decent kit. He has spent some time in Bournemouth/Poole as a student and as the press release indicates, has relatives who rode for Poole - hence his skull & crossbones on his kevlars ( you see I wasn't joking when I said this before)!!

He hasn't yet ridden in any of the top leagues abroad so assume he will come in on 5.50.

Its always good to have an(other) Poole link in the Coventry pits!!!!

Adjusted would have been more acceptable, but it has been discarded in one swoop.

Can you imagine him turning up in those kevlars at his first Coventry meeting, that would be funny!!

Don't know why you would want a risky rider like him when you could have a proven EL scorer.

As i see it the team does not seem that bad, wait until everyone else has announced their teams, they have Bomber who is a GP rider and one of the best EL riders in the last 10 years, KK yes had a bad season this year but he is a class act and i can't believe people think any different, Garrity is probably one of GB best rising stars and will excel this year I'm sure. Sarj yes does jump a few starts but he has shown he can do it in the EL and Josh in the last 2 years has come on leaps and has won both U19 and U21 title in the last 2 years, King is a solid 3rd heat leader and how many teams will have a 3rd heat leader as good. granted the new lad is a gamble but is it a gamble worth taking based on what other teams are going to put out, just my opinion

Going on last seasons form King is not a decent 3rd heat leader. he was decent as a 2nd string, him and JK swapping throughout the season gave us a decent platform as one of em would usually score decent from the 2nd string position, along with garrity from reserve.

Pretty much the way I'm thinking too.
