Pirates Of Poole
Good signing for Coventry and best of the rest, a number of clubs came in at the last minute for KK, like I said before maybe a asset swap loan deal with Poole. mdmc82
I personally would have preferred Larsen but how do we know he even wants to ride in the UK. I'm 50/50 on the KK signing. In 2010 he was brilliant for us and I loved watching the partnership between him and Harris. When he rides to his potential then he could beat a lot of riders in the league. There is also a real shortage of potential number 1s wanting to ride in Britain. With no SGP commitments hopefully he will have less pressure on him. However what makes me a bit wary is thinking of the frustration watching him ride for us in 2013 and not scoring. He has also had a shocking season in the SGP. Kaspazak is a confidence rider and when things are going bad it's often hard for him to get back on track. I guess it will be easier to see how strong our top 3 is once others are announced. On their day, that top 3 does look good. With just over 7 points left, I wonder if we will be building close to the point limit. with us not having one of the strongest reserve pairings, I think it will need to be someone capable of riding as a heatleader. Just one big request. Please NO BARKER OR WATT 🙈 Interesting. Kenni Larsen is on 7.26. But I suspect he's on that elusive heat leader list. Would be unstoppable if we could get him as well. 🙏 imagine he may be on the list though. Edited November 21, 2015 by mdmc82

He'd be doubling up as he's signed for Glasgow for next season. Phew what a relief 😉
wealdstone
Always like to have my two pennies worth. I understand the reasoning of lowering the cost of the younger person, hoping to attract more to the sport, but not at the expense of those who already support the sport. From my visit to various tracks the crowd always have a big percentage of older patrons. But persecuting them is wrong. Some will continue to follow the sport, while others will say sod this. Its quite obvious from the new pricing structure the older generation is not favoured. Weighing the extra income against the absenteeism of others will be a close call, all it will do is drive people away............. That's the last thing any club wants. The terraces are empty enough already,,, At a time when stupid decisions are creating havoc with the sport, to me, this is another one to add to the list.........This decision will benefit no one..... I suspect that lowering the cost for the younger person was not the primary motive.
stevebrum
KK Hahahahahahahahaha Couldn't be more delighted for Coventry and it's not Wolves. Comes to something when price structures and pensions are more exciting news. What a happy start to the weekend. naffer
Michelsen would be a good option ,I have a feeling we will be well under the team limit as hinted at in the local paper a couple of times. Not sure who it could be ,but we can rule out Zengi and Bjerre as long as its not saucepan.
wealdstone
OAPs already recieve benefits in the form of a pension, why do they get extra discounts? I'm on JSA and I have to pay full price. You really are shrewd by claiming JSA you will qualify for OAP without having to pay for it like everybody else,

SCB
Well I've been quite gloom about our prospects in 2016 so far this winter. It looks like I was wrong. Provided the remaining points are not wasted on Summers I think we have the potential to be a pretty good team. I'm pleased with KK. I understand some people's concern but to win in speedway you sometimes need to take risks.
stevebrum
You will probably sign PK again ,happy days at the kennel. I'd rather have any Wolves asset or anyone else (bar Batchelor of course) so of course happy days. At least with PK he isn't likely to be sacked for not trying. That will give you a laugh. 😂😂😂 Our fast track reserve rode faster with a broken ankle than a fully fit Freddie did most of the season 😜😜 Edited November 21, 2015 by mdmc82
SCB
Can't be summers!! Has to be full time ELPhew! Of course. Silly me. See, I can help but be pessimistic! Mads Korneliussen maybe. Or Jacob Thorsell.
Bees_Man
Think our top three is ok. King worries me but the last signing will be one that will make or break us. Has to be nearer heat leader level, than poor second string.

Youd think someone who watched Freddie Lingren roll around to a 6.11 average would be weary of mocking a rider who averaged 7.97 when he struggled and is alleged to have taken the piss

stevethelion
A question for Neil Watson please. Leicester are advertising their season tickets as for 14 Elite league matches, a round of the youth championship & the East Midlands Bowl. The Bees package says nothing about the Bowl & because the Bees have the Elite Shield as the season opener, I would have thought it unlikely they are going to want to race Lions over 2 legs before the season starts as well. Can you confirm whether Coventry have any plans to compete against Lions for the Bowl next season. If it isn't run at the beginning of the season it's highly unlikely it will be fitted in at the end & we will have paid for a meeting on the season ticket that won't take place. How else do you describe being sacked 3 times by 3 different clubs. I couldn't be any more delighted for your lot. On a more serious note in this watered league KK SHOULD dominate as a heat leader so on paper you should be happy, I'd have preferred Summers if I was a Bees fan. naffer
Thorsell did go well last time at Brandon he might be worth a shout he would probably relish a year away from the chuckle brothers.
