Woz01
why cant the rider go to the small claims court to obtain moneys owed? Yep he should if he can. Relatively speaking it's a small amount so not sure why they haven't paid it. Without hearing the other side of the argument we won't really know for sure.

They acknowledge they owe him the money because they said they would pay him half of it if he rode for them this season! Seems a pretty clear case to me! Bee 26
Nothing changes with Horton then!
mdmc82
That's not very good. No wonder why we struggle to sign riders. Although saying that I can't imagine KK is cheap
Agrotron
Apparently everyone wants to ride for Coventry according to Horton lmfao! Stitched Larsen up as they say a leopard never changes its spots, that is the polite version I am sure others have much more fruitier language to use for him.

stevebrum
Not saying he's lying but we can't possibly know that the bit about offering a deal is true, doubt we ever will. Just wonder what reason he would have to lie tho? He already has a legitimate case for being upset so has no real reason to make stuff up. I take your point tho as it's a one sided argument.

deanr1
As with most arguments there will be 3 sides to it, Horton's, Larsen's and the truth somewhere in the middle. Seems strange to me that this would come out with such aggression 4 years down the line.

He's now deleted said post so hopefully something was sorted/agreed.

I would be happy with him in bees colours but not instead of Harris, King, KK or maybe Kylmakorpi

I think he'll be fine once he comes back to competitive racing .
Barrow Boy 2
why cant the rider go to the small claims court to obtain moneys owed? Don't the BSPA hold a substantial bond paid by all current BEL promoters to cover the possibilities of them being unable to pay their debts if becoming insolvent etc. Why can't riders who are owed monies that are disputed apply to the BSPA who if agree that a claim is genuine pay the rider out of the held bond. If at the beginning of the following season any bonds have dipped below an agreed level they have to be topped up before a new promoter's licence can be issued.
Sir Jasper
I always thought it was under Sandhu's promotion that we signed Kenni, so unless Mick took on the debts... I may be wrong with the dates though.

Kenni did say the BSPA wouldn't help him either. I always thought it was under Sandhu's promotion that we signed Kenni, so unless Mick took on the debts... I may be wrong with the dates though. Kenni rode in Horton first season in 2012.
Bee 26
If Horton owes him money then he should pay up. Doesn't reflect well trying to sign riders for next year if other riders hear they don't get paid. Poor from Coventry
heathen chemistry
no new up ncoming danes will be going to coventry then thats horton ruined one avenue of future talent for the bees
Bees_Man
Don't think many do want to ride for Horton. Interestingly if he did want Larsen, who's been shown the door as Kenni has a high average. Personally I think it would be a risky signing.
