mdmc82
Garrity down to ride in the 4s at Peterbrough over the weekend it seems. Says on bees website he's closing in on a comeback but tomorrow's meeting was too soon. He was meant to be back August so hope he's not coming back before ready. double_O
This year is the opposite. We have one of the strongest top 3s but need strength at reserve where we are extremely poor. How many times are you going to go on and on about our strong top 3. Going on current averages KK, Harris and King`s total have only Leicesters top 3 below them. If as many fans had realised, Horton had just grown some balls before the season started and told Garrity to start at reserve with Bates and prove him wrong by staying in the top 5, we could have had roughly a 6pt rider to share 3&4 in the team with King and not have Sarj. NO other team would have offered Garrity a place other than at reserve!!!! Our promotion/team manager are without doubt the weakest and most inept in the league by a long stretch.

You do realise a lot of other teams heatleaders have also gained some of their average as 2nd strings whilst ours have always been heatleaders. All 3 have been scoring well lately which is what keeps us in matches as terrible reserves. Recent Home meetings Against Poole: Our top 3 scored 30+5 Poole's top 3 scored 17+0 Against King's Lynn : our top 3 scored 29+3 Their's 16 Against Lakeside: our top 3: scored 27+5 Their's scored 23+3 If you look at all our home scores, other teams have rarely outscored ours. Away meetings Cov & Wolves both scored same Cov 23 & Swindon 24 Cov 30 & Leicester 17 Cov 22 & Lakeside 23 Cov 30 & King's Lynn 18 Cov 23 & Belle Vue 24 The only team to outscored our top 3 was Poole due to King scoring 2 & KK 4. It shows they have been able to beat or match most heatleader trio's home & away. However if you look at our reserve scores in meetings it's a sorry sight 🙈 Edited July 19, 2016 by mdmc82

Not true, Garrity had more than one offer to be in the top 5 as he was adamant he didn't want the draft wage. Also averages only tell part of a story. Our top 3 have been heat leaders throughout the season, I don't think any other club can say that. Edited July 19, 2016 by woz01

Woz01
The problem lies with the idiots runing the club. Yes we bloody get it! You don't like them. I'm not keen on them just like a few others but we don't drone on about it every other post. Its what we have got and i doubt we would be running without Horton and co. Horton is one of a few that has put in valuable time and effort to try and and keep us going in future so perhaps we could all cut him some slack despite obvious mistakes he has made. RadProWebsite
When Jason is fit again, perhaps in time for Belle Vue on Friday will he replace Kacper so we can keep Ben at 2 or 4? That would strengthen us for what it's worth without re-declaring the team while Kacper reverts to a squad member, Josh to reserve. May be too late now anyway and PL fixture clashes might make it a non-starter anyway?

We already have King and Garrity so can't change Woryna for Barker.

There isn't many better (if any) top 2 than KK and Bomber. King is averaging over 6 as a 3rd heatleader, he is now doing his job and none of those 3 averages have been boosted by a stint in 2nd string like many others. As we've said before the problem has been lower down and not making the change when needed.

It's Not the top 3 that is our problem. If we race next year I would have them back. It's the lower order that's costing us.

If we had Woryna as squad member and replaced him with another rider with a average above 5 then that would bring Bates back to reserve. The problem is that he won't get to move back there with Woryna & Sarjeant struggling

Mads back in the UK today to sort stuff out so you never know!
