heathen chemistry
that 3rd place was won by sheer guts and determination , you could see his bikes were not quite as quick as some of the others but he dug in and never gave up. if he can find a bit more speed and he keeps up with that attitude he could well get a few more rostrums...
TheSmiler
Garrity ruled out for a month. Wishing him a speedy recovery, such a shame when he's been riding so well. We are going to need a temporary replacement now... There is no way we can deal with R/R if the promotion even want a sniff of the play offs (which is already unlikely). Either use squad man Barker or if he fits, pencil Simon Stead in for a month? Edited June 30, 2016 by The Smiler
abbo
To respond to Hair is this the best post you can make on a speedway site?. What a pathetic reply no reasoning, no content. A short term replacement is a must now and Steady would appear to be the best choice if available. Out of interest, would Richard Hall be eligible/worth a punt as a trial replacement for the out of sorts Sarjeant? Feel for Sarjeant as he's punched well above his weight for us the last 2 seasons but really seems to be struggling right now.

mdmc82
Thursday June 30, 2016 TWO of the top three riders in last weekends Czech Republic Grand Prix will be on show in Coventrys Elite League clash with Swindon at Brandon on Friday (7.30pm). Robins skipper Jason Doyle, who is statistically the top rider in the league, clinched his first GP victory in Prague - whilst his Buildbase Bees counterpart Chris Harris made his return to the rostrum for the first time since last years curtailed opener at Warsaw with a battling third place. Both riders will be paraded prior to Fridays meeting, along with Coventrys Danny King who races at home for the first time since his sensational British Final triumph at Belle Vue on June 13. The meeting itself is also a highly significant one in the chase for play-off places with the Bees anxious to avoid a second home slip-up against the Robins. Alun Rossiters side have an excellent away record with three wins and a draw, including their 50-42 victory at Brandon in early May, but three home defeats have acted to balance out that form on the road. Bees, meanwhile, have made up the points from their own two losses at home by collecting five from recent visits to Kings Lynn and Leicester, and now need a fourth successive home victory to close in on the play-off places. But they go into the meeting without two riders, with Jason Garrity having been ruled out for around a month with a break to his arm diagnosed following his crash at Leicester on Monday. The rider-replacement facility operates for Garrity, whilst Josh Bates completes his mandatory nine-day spell on the sidelines after crashing at Sheffield last Thursday. Bates is replaced by squad member Adam Roynon, who scored paid ten in his previous appearance for the Bees at Brandon against Lakeside. Coventry promoter Mick Horton said: Its been such a long time since our last Elite League match at home, and its very important that we keep up the form we had before the break. A win against Swindon is hugely important for us, and it would take us to within striking distance of a play-off place before we go there on Monday. We will be parading Danny with his trophy before the meeting as its the first chance our supporters have had to welcome him back as British Champion, and Im sure hell get a great reception. We will also be parading Bomber as well as Jason for the benefit of the Swindon fans, after they both put in such good displays in Prague last weekend. I expect it to be a cracking meeting with some great riders on show. BUILDBASE BEES (from): Jason Garrity R/R, Chris Harris, Krzysztof Kasprzak, Danny King, Adam Roynon, James Sarjeant, Kacper Woryna. SWINDON (from): Jason Doyle, Josh Grajczonek, Nick Morris, Stefan Nielsen, Justin Sedgmen, Rohan Tungate, Charles Wright. SCB
Yes he's been flying with four race wins all season Whatever it is he's been doing, it's better than Bates and Woryna which is why he find himself at #4 despite only being #7 in our initial averages. The failing is not Sarj's, it's Worynas. If we had a 6 point man in Worynas place then Sarj would still be in reserve and would be plodding along nicely. Now if we'd had someone decent at 4 and Garrity had started in reserve then Sarj would be deemed to be having a pretty good season. It's unfair to have a go at the lad who is out of position because our management signed a rubbish team.
